Satisfactory with good cost and effective knowledge; room for improvement in other areas.

Placements: While coming to the placement side at Hindustan Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, the placement situation is very poor. For example, if 3,000 students complete the academic year, only about 1,000 students get placed. That means only 30-40% of the students are getting placements, and even among them, some receive offer letters while others do not. We do not know what happens behind the scenes, but it cannot be said that the college is not bringing placement companies. The issue might also be with the students' logical thinking and aptitude test performance.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure at Hindustan Institute of Technology is lacking. There are no facilities like a swimming pool or extensive extracurricular activities. The infrastructure is quite poor, and there is no ground available for sports. However, the hostel facilities are excellent. The hostel is clean, with staff cleaning it weekly. In the first year, you will get a four-sharing room with a common bathroom. In the second year, there are three types of rooms: Ultra, Dual, and Normal. The Normal rooms come with six-sharing and no attached bathroom, while the Ultra and Dual rooms have attached bathrooms.

Faculty: Regarding the faculty, most of the faculty members are not well-trained, but some do provide core knowledge on subjects that can help you succeed in the course. Campus life and exams are manageable, and you can clear your exams with the help of the faculty.

Other: The college is located in a major road in the Coimbatore region. Compared to other colleges in the Coimbatore and Chennai regions, Hindustan Institute of Technology offers a course costing around 7 lakhs, whereas other colleges charge around 8 to 9 lakhs.

HITECH 2023-2027: Get the Best in Everything

Placements: The percentage of students placed in our college is only 60%. The average salary package ranges up to 3 lakhs per annum, and there is a lack of placements in core departments. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Zoho, Wipro, Accenture, and others.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college is at an average level. Most of the staff are not highly experienced, but you can gain some knowledge from one or two well-trained staff members. Hostel facilities are at an average level, but the food is very poor.

Faculty: Passing exams in our college is not a big deal if there is a lot of guidance given to the students. The staff will help you pass your end-semester examinations with their guidance. The question papers are not at all tough, so you can pass easily.

Placements: In our college, many students are placed. The salary package offered is 2.5 LPA to 9 LPA. A few companies visit our campus. A few students get internships. The aptitude classes are conducted at our college.

Infrastructure: Labs are good.

Faculty: The teaching quality is excellent. The relationship between students and teachers is excellent. Our teachers communicate with students very well. Sometimes, teachers are rude, but not in all situations.

Our college has good infrastructure and has good faculty members.

Placements: Almost 40% of students got placed in our course. The average salary package offered ranges between 3.5 LPA - 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Cognizant. Companies visit our college to recruit students from the 6th semester. Top roles offered are software developer and graduate engineer trainee.

Infrastructure: Students can use the computer whenever they need. Lab facilities are good. The food served in the mess is average. Sports and games are excellent.

Faculty: All faculty members are very knowledgeable, helpful, and qualified. They teach everything about each subject and concept. They conduct placement classes and programming classes to clear aptitude rounds in interviews. They prepare students for how to code. The pass percentage is 92%. Exams and practicals are easy to write and pass.

Other: I opted for this course because I am interested in hardware and software. Our teachers should conduct more practical sessions.

Placements: Placements are good in our college.
