Satisfactory with good cost and effective knowledge; room for improvement in other areas.

Placements: While coming to the placement side at Hindustan Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, the placement situation is very poor. For example, if 3,000 students complete the academic year, only about 1,000 students get placed. That means only 30-40% of the students are getting placements, and even among them, some receive offer letters while others do not. We do not know what happens behind the scenes, but it cannot be said that the college is not bringing placement companies. The issue might also be with the students' logical thinking and aptitude test performance.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure at Hindustan Institute of Technology is lacking. There are no facilities like a swimming pool or extensive extracurricular activities. The infrastructure is quite poor, and there is no ground available for sports. However, the hostel facilities are excellent. The hostel is clean, with staff cleaning it weekly. In the first year, you will get a four-sharing room with a common bathroom. In the second year, there are three types of rooms: Ultra, Dual, and Normal. The Normal rooms come with six-sharing and no attached bathroom, while the Ultra and Dual rooms have attached bathrooms.

Faculty: Regarding the faculty, most of the faculty members are not well-trained, but some do provide core knowledge on subjects that can help you succeed in the course. Campus life and exams are manageable, and you can clear your exams with the help of the faculty.

Other: The college is located in a major road in the Coimbatore region. Compared to other colleges in the Coimbatore and Chennai regions, Hindustan Institute of Technology offers a course costing around 7 lakhs, whereas other colleges charge around 8 to 9 lakhs.

HITECH 2023-2027: Get the Best in Everything

Placements: The percentage of students placed in our college is only 60%. The average salary package ranges up to 3 lakhs per annum, and there is a lack of placements in core departments. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Zoho, Wipro, Accenture, and others.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college is at an average level. Most of the staff are not highly experienced, but you can gain some knowledge from one or two well-trained staff members. Hostel facilities are at an average level, but the food is very poor.

Faculty: Passing exams in our college is not a big deal if there is a lot of guidance given to the students. The staff will help you pass your end-semester examinations with their guidance. The question papers are not at all tough, so you can pass easily.

Placements: In our college, many students are placed. The salary package offered is 2.5 LPA to 9 LPA. A few companies visit our campus. A few students get internships. The aptitude classes are conducted at our college.

Infrastructure: Labs are good.

Faculty: The teaching quality is excellent. The relationship between students and teachers is excellent. Our teachers communicate with students very well. Sometimes, teachers are rude, but not in all situations.

Our college has good infrastructure and has good faculty members.

Placements: Almost 40% of students got placed in our course. The average salary package offered ranges between 3.5 LPA - 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Cognizant. Companies visit our college to recruit students from the 6th semester. Top roles offered are software developer and graduate engineer trainee.

Infrastructure: Students can use the computer whenever they need. Lab facilities are good. The food served in the mess is average. Sports and games are excellent.

Faculty: All faculty members are very knowledgeable, helpful, and qualified. They teach everything about each subject and concept. They conduct placement classes and programming classes to clear aptitude rounds in interviews. They prepare students for how to code. The pass percentage is 92%. Exams and practicals are easy to write and pass.

Other: I opted for this course because I am interested in hardware and software. Our teachers should conduct more practical sessions.

Placements: Placements are good in our college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. Hostel facilities are better. Washrooms are also clean. Hostel rooms are neat and spacious. It also provides a good laboratory. Our hostel is safe for students but the food quality is not good.

Faculty: Faculty members are supportive. They are very helpful when it comes to studies and assignments. Webinars and seminars are also conducted by teachers.

Good satisfaction with the faculty and academics.

Placements: 60% of students are already placed. The highest of INR 6 lacs and the lowest of INR 2 lacs CTC. are offered during placements. Companies like Hexaware, TCS, Infosys, etc. come for placement. Several companies provide us training and Internship with job offers. The roles offered to students are Software developer, system engineer, and trainee developer.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi enabled campus, but not on hostel. In our department we have our department library and an common library. The food quality is quite good. There are individual hostels for the students there are so many hospitals near the hostel and there are several games that encourage students.

Faculty: You get good teachers, and their teaching is good. The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. And the course curriculum is relevant to the subject. And students can't get industry standards because they have to get experience to be in that field.

Other: Electronics and communication engineering, because we can choose core, as well as software field on our future interest.

It is absolutely a perfect college.

Placements: About 90% of the students got placed from our course. The salary package offered here was 3 LPA. TCS, CTS and many other companies visit here. About 50% of companies which visit here are BSNL and other companies. Overall, students got good internships in many institutions. The lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA in our course. Placements are perfect here.

Infrastructure: All facilities are available in a good manner here. The food is served anywhere on the campus. There are both indoor games and outdoor sports facilities. All types of medical facilities are available anytime. Wi-Fi facilities are available both in the hostel and campus.

Faculty: The teaching is perfect here, and the pass percentage is 50%. The course curriculum is relevant, and students get experience in a good manner. 5th and 7th-semester exams are difficult. Professors are very helpful to students to learn the course. Teachers are knowledgeable and behave very kindly with us.

Other: Campus life is perfect to become a perfect professional.

Our college provides good placements and good exposure to the outside world.

Placements: Active recruiters are coming on the college campus. The placement cell is doing an excellent job to help students get placed. The highest salary package offered was 5.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Companies like CTS, Accenture and TCS visit our college for placements.

Infrastructure: Labs facilities and the classroom were good. Classrooms were spacious with enough ventilation systems. The hostel facility is not up to the mark. The food and the hostel facility were not up to the mark.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college were very good and experienced in explaining the topics. They help the students to groom the skills very well. They would take special care for the students who feel difficulty in understanding the topics and help them to understand them. Faculty members are keen on helping the students to get the necessary help.

Other: I am from the electronics and communication course. I am interested in communication, so I decided to pursue this course. The atmosphere of the college is good. Fest organised at the college are too good compared to other colleges. If a student wants to enjoy this college to learn something, then this would be a good choice.
