My college life was pretty awesome.
Placements: The placements provided here are very good. Our college tries to make all students get placed. Overall, it was a great experience for me. Most of the students got placed from here. The highest salary package provided here would be 6 LPA, while the lowest salary package provided would be 3 LPA. Many recruiting companies visit here at the beginning of the final year only. Staff members here also help in providing internships to students.
Infrastructure: The vibe in our institute was very good. There was a canteen within the institute, where we used to hang out with friends and share the food.
Faculty: The course of mechanical engineering in our institute had provided us with the knowledge of theory and practical. The faculty members here were very friendly and cooperative throughout the academics. They helped in all the circumstances. They are well qualified, and most of them have a PhD as well. They try to make us understand the concept and how this could be applied in the real world.
Other: Many cultural activities were held in our institute during my tenure, and it was a brilliant experience.

Review of Hindusthan Institute of Technology.
Placements: The placement percentage of mechanical engineering is low in 2020-2021. The highest package offered was around 3 LPA, and the average package offered was 1.8 LPA. Mostly IT-based companies used to visit the college. The companies for non-circuital branches are really less. Those include Wabco, Sakura etc. Most of the students got a chance to do internships and work with a stipend of Rs.12,000. Quality CNC is one among other companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The college has a main library and each department possess their own libraries. The main library has more than 10,000 books. The library also has a good Wi-Fi connection. The college has a well-equipped laboratory. The hostel facilities were good. Both deluxe and non-deluxe rooms were available. Students have to adjust a little in case of mess food because most of them won't like it. Sports are encouraged by the management. There are separate grounds for cricket, volleyball, basketball etc.
Faculty: The faculty members are friendly. Few have completed PhDs, and most of them are M.E qualified. Most of them have years of experience in industries. Both theoretical and practical teaching is good. The curriculum is relevant and makes the students ready for industries.

Candidate who have passed HSC i.e., 10+2 in any one of the Vocational Subject (Basic Mechanical Engineering/ Basic Electrical Engineering/ Basic Electronics Engineering/ Basic Civil Engineering/ Basic Automobile Engineering/ Textile Technology) with any one of the Engineering related subjects namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry with above mentioned minimum average percentage put together are also eligible to apply.

Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.
