IIIT Bhagalpur MTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
IIIT Bhagalpur MTech is two years course offered in a full-time mode. The PG-level programme is offered across multiple specialisations, including Electric Vehicle Technology, Microwave and Communication Systems, VLSI and Embedded Systems, Signal Processing & Machine Learning, etc. MTech at IIIT Bhagalpur is offered in regular and part-time mode. Further, there is also an online MTech course for working professionals, that lasts for three years.
IIIT Bhagalpur MTech admission to the flagship MTech course is completely entrance-based. Interested candidates are required to apply and appear for GATE. After qualifying for the exam, they are required to undergo the CCMT counselling rounds for final seat allotment. Candidates must have valid eligibility criteria for the MTech course, which is as follows:

The eligibility criteria for the MTech programme at IIIT Bhagalpur requires candidates to have a valid GATE score in the relevant discipline, a BTech degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (55% for SC/ST candidates), and a final degree certificate before the prescribed deadline for those in their final year. Also, non-GATE candidate can apply via the institution's official website and appear for the IIIT Bhagalpur's written test and personal interview.
MTech programme offered by IIIT Bhagalpur isn't free of cost. Candidates are required to pay the tuition fee amount of INR 2 Lacs at the end of the admission procedure.These fees are excluded of other fees that are payable only at the time of admission. Yes, you will get ECE at IIIT Bhagalpur with a JEE Main cutoff rank of 50000 if you belong to the General AI quota. However, you have to wait till the last round, as the cutoff ranks are generally higher in the initial rounds. For the unreserved category, the closing ranks during the IIIT Bhagalpur
