Decent facilities if you are looking for this college your rank is not good so accept it.

Placements: Around 80% of students get placed, but it includes off-campus as well. The highest package for ECE is around 40 LPA. The main difference that the branch creates is the % of students placed, and you will have to study core subjects from the 3rd semester onwards. Overall, the college is decent, but some hostel accommodation problems are going on.

It is great for students if they want to take admission in any IIIT except government ones.

Placements: Placements are good in my college. If students are hardworking, know how to do smart work, and have skills, then they can get placements here. We should just focus on developing skills that will be required in the future, like DSA, OOPs, MATLAB, and HTML.

Shortage of hostels, a decent campus, nice placements, and low crowd, which can be a pro or con.

Placements: As far as I know, when it comes to placements, it doesn't matter what the course or the branch we are in, and what matters here is the right skill set. The placement report of the 2026 batch is quite good. Almost 90-95 percent of students are placed with the average package that ranges from 15-16 LPA.

The location is nice, but the placement is weak.

Placements: The overall placements were okay. The college helped to some extent, but students mostly got placed by themselves in different companies. Around 50% of students got placed on campus. The lowest package was 3 LPA and the highest was 32 LPA. The internship percentage was a bit low.

Life at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Una, Himachal Pradesh.

Placements: The placement statistics of IIIT Una are as follows. The highest package is 30 LPA, and average is 11 LPA. Branch-wise placements are CSE-12.38 LPA, ECE-10.79 LPA, and IT-9.9 LPA. Top recruiters include Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Infosys, TCS, etc. Many students are also hired as interns in companies for the role of SDE.

Growing Institute with good infrastructure and decent placement opportunities.

Placements: I am a final-year student of the 2025 batch from electronics and communication. The placement scenario has been fairly strong increasing demand for electronics. Approximately 70%-73% of students from our batch have been placed while drives still going on. It would be better in the near future.

IIIT Kota ranks higher and holds an edge over newer IIITs like Sonepat or Una due to its established reputation, better placements (avg INR 11-12 LPA), and permanent campus. While Sonepat/Una have decent, growing placements, IIIT Kota's older, stronger industry ties make it a superior choice.

No, IIIT Una admissions 2026 are not open for any courses yet. Usually IIIT Una admissions commence with appearing for JEE and then further rounds like JOSAA AND CSAB counselling takes place.
