Life at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Una, Himachal Pradesh.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Una, is good compared to other IIITs constructed at the same time. There are 4 hostels, 2 basketball courts, 3 badminton courts, 1 lawn tennis court, and 1 football court. All years have hostel accommodation, and the permanent campus spans across 100 acres. However, the upcoming batch faces an accommodation issue, as only 100 to 150 students will be allotted hostels within the campus on a first-come, first-served basis.

Growing Institute with good infrastructure and decent placement opportunities.

Infrastructure: Our college is equipped with all the necessary infrastructure to support academic and research activities. The classrooms are well-ventilated, equipped with projects, and fully AC-oriented. High-speed data is provided through Wi-Fi but sometimes power cuts lead to poor quality.

A decent college to join - With IIIT #tag.

Infrastructure: Although due to lesser number of branches and lower number of students, the student intake is less and the crowd is also less. So, it affects the overall campus size. The campus size is small and compact but they provide almost all facilities. It lacks the following, no proper auditorium (only an indoor big size lecture hall is treated as an auditorium), and the area is not so developed. It is located outside the city. But we can reach the city easily.

The overall experience in this college will be really good.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are really good. The infrastructure is new, and the condition of the rooms is better than the holder colleges. Classrooms are small and good for focusing on the quality content taught during the lectures. Wi-Fi, labs, and library are good. The quality of food in the mess is satisfactory. The medical facilities, sports, and games are very good than the other colleges.

Not a good choice to choose this college.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is below average compared to other colleges. The rooms are well cleaned, but the NY mess does not have AC or a cooler, and there are no medical facilities. There is no pest control. There is no auditorium and no proper canteen, and there are insufficient hostels, forcing students to live outside. Overall, it’s not good.

IIIT Una is worth it in 2025.

Infrastructure: As Una is a newly established college, our hostels are very nice compared to those of IITs or NITs. There is a library and a study room also, with Wi-Fi connectivity. The mess food has improved compared to the first day of college. There are many sports available, like table tennis, badminton, lawn tennis, basketball, football, almost all games except swimming.

Telling about the reality of college.

Infrastructure: Hostels are incredible as compared to other colleges, and provide Wi-Fi with good internet speed. Quality of mess food is okay. A canteen is also there on campus and for night Nescafe store is also available upto 3:00 AM. There is a well-structured playground for all sports.

A student's point of view.

Infrastructure: We are provided a room with 3 students each, which has enough space for us. There are 2 lifts in each hostel, even though the building height is only 3 floors. We have an academic block where classes take place and there too we students are allowed to use the lift for classes.

Not absolutely dissatisfied because of its faculty members, average placements, and facilities.

Infrastructure: Classrooms, labs, library, and all are fully equipped with Wi-Fi. We have all the necessary equipments. Infact there is also a new lab that has been set up in coordination with IIT Ropar. Hostels are also well-equipped with Wi-Fi facility. Food has different varieties throughout the day. Food quality is average. Medical facilities are good, and have several sports grounds for various games.

Satisfied with the college. If you get this college in JEE, you can for sure take it.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi provided in the college is good. The infra is one of the best in all the IIIT colleges currently. Library, study rooms, labs, all are there with AC and theater. The hostels are decent, have 3-sharing rooms, hot water for bathing, etc. All kinds of sports, except swimming, are available. Medical rooms are tiered. Two veg messes and one non-veg mess are there. Two canteens are there.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good and hostel is also quite good as compared to other IIITs. Various electronics labs and infrastructure is also available for course. We also have department library, microwave lab, etc. Food quality is okayish, one can expect good food sometimes but sometimes the quality is not up to the mark. Canteen is available. Cricket, badminton, table tennis, and football are some of the most prominent sports our institute offers. In general, we can expect a good quality time he...

IIIT UNA: Growing IIIT.

Infrastructure: At present, IIIT Una campus has three fully furnished and large hostels named Jatharagini, Bhutagni, and Chitagni. The hostels are better than the old hostels present in other IITs, NITs, and IIITs due to its newly-built campus. The hostels have all basic facilities. The rooms are three-seater. Bathrooms and toilets are present on each floor, with a solar water heating system, 2 outdoor badminton courts, an indoor table tennis hall, and a mess on the ground floor. Overall, this college is great for students who are willing to work hard.

Infrastructure: Labs are in very good condition. They have lots of computer labs with high-speed LAN wires and other labs like the Chemistry lab, Electrical and Electronics lab, Physics lab, all in very good condition. The equipment is new and properly working. Hostels are good, but the food quality is okay; sometimes they cook good food, but sometimes they don’t.
