Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing Kancheepuram is a state-owned institute which is designed by the ministry of human resource development of Government of India in 2007. In July 2011, MHRD has given IIITDM Kancheepuram status of Institute of National Importance. According to the NIRF Ranking 2025, IIITDM Kancheepuram was ranked at position under the band 151-200 in the category of Engineering. No, IIITDM does not offer any direct admission for BTech programme. Candidates seeking admission to the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Kancheepuram BTech courses must visit the official website of the respective entrance exams.
