Everything is good, faculty is .

Placements: The placement rate is 80%, the highest package is 45 LPA, and the lowest is 9 LPA. AMD, Intel, Google, startup companies, JPMorgan, and some others are among the top recruiting companies. For campus placement, I can give an average rate of about 80%, with two roles being VLSI engineer, electronic design engineer, and some others.

Infrastructure: I can give 4 stars, which is more than enough. Classrooms and library, I can give 4-4.5. The mess is below average. The medical facility is good. Sports and games, I can give 4.5.

Faculty: Teachers are supportive. They are knowledgeable, and the course curriculum makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not too hard; you can pass easily. The pass percentage is 98%, which depends on the student. If they try, they can easily get 8.5, which is good.

Other: I took this course because I like dealing with hardware and VLSI, mainly for the skills. There is only one fest, which lasts about 5 days: "Samghatha." Don't expect much; extracurricular activities are average.

It's a good college to study if you have a lower rank to join NITs.

Placements: 35 LPA is the highest. I don't know the lowest package. Overall average placements. Many students do internships, such as a paid internship, because they are important and a good thing. The ECE department is good here, and you can be taught by good lecturers, except that some of them are common.

Infrastructure: Small rooms for freshers. Building a new one until then, average rooms. Food is good. Sports are the best thing in college. Wi-Fi is not available in the hostel rooms, whereas you get Ethernet, which does not often work properly, but you can get Wi-Fi in college.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, except for some. Exams' difficulty is medium to hard. For one semester, they conduct a mid-term and a final exam. One semester only lasts for 70 days here, i.e., 70 working days. Teachers are all highly qualified.

Other: Events are not up to the mark. Scholarships are available in all colleges.

Mess food is below average.

Management is responsible, and I won't recommend this institute. Join other IIITs and NITs.

Placements: The highest package is just 32 LPA, relatively lower than many other IIITs. The highest stipend is 1.1 LPA by Amazon. ECE has 62.5% placement rate, and 32 LPA is the highest salary. Average would be around 12 LPA. In CS AI the highest is 32 LPA. 71% is the placement rate. In mech, the highest is 12.5 LPA, and 70.5 is the placement rate. In some, the highest is 12.5 LPA, and 60% is placement rate.

Infrastructure: Library is small and closed on Sunday. Wi-Fi works only in the academic block, and it won't work in hostels. Classrooms are limited and small. Lab is just a waste of time. Food is the worst in my opinion. No proper hygiene, and the institute will not claim its mistake. There is no lighting on campus, and water in hostels will stop at 11:00 AM. No one cares about you.

Faculty: Coming to teachers, they have degrees but they cannot teach well. You cannot understand things because of the way of teaching. Curriculum has design courses that you feel are very useless at this point and waste a lot of time. Semester exams are not difficult, they are easy but they won't test your caliber.

Other: Coming to the events part, this institute is too boring and many festivals are ignored and not given any priority even though they are the major festivals. Finding an education loan is a bit difficult i.e., contacting management is difficult. They have to change the system of the institute. It won't encourage students to research and feed them with classes.

IIITDM Kancheepuram is an overall package that is good for academics and cultural events.

Placements: I think in the previous year, about 60-70% of students got placed. The highest package offered is around 20 LPA, and the average package is 11 LPA. The lowest package is 6 LPA. We received recruiters from AMD, etc. About 80% of students got internships from different courses in companies like AMD, Microsoft, etc. Roles like VLSI design engineer, embedded system engineer, and software AI ML are offered.

Infrastructure: In IIITDM Kancheepuram with respect to the ECE department facilities, labs are well-equipped and teachers are knowledgeable. The hostel has a LAN facility, and the library has a good Wi-Fi facility. The hostel rooms are provided with necessities, but the only issue is that it is a bit congested on one half of the hostel block for boys. The food provided is decent, there is no non-veg menu but it can be accessed by purchasing a separate token for it. Medical facilities are good. Sports are top-notch.

Faculty: The institute offers a strong academic foundation with an industry-relevant approach. Faculty members are PhD-certified professors from IITs. They encourage students to participate in research and projects. Semester exams are decent if we are active during college hours.

Other: I am passionate about electronics so I chose ECE and IIITDM Kancheepuram. It has a lot of future scope in semiconductors. It is decent and no need for improvements with current faculty members. In IIITDM Kancheepuram, there is a balance between extra cultural and academic life. With participation in clubs, we can create a great network with people.

College system and its features.

Placements: In the batch of 2022, 65% of students were placed from the Electronics and Communication course. The highest package was 42 Lacs per month, the lowest package was 5 Lacs per month, and the average package was 11 Lacs per month. The top recruiting companies were Games Craft, Zoom, KLA, MathWorks, and Siemens. 85% of students got internships for the ECE course. SDE, ML engineer, and R&D roles were offered in the ECE course.

Infrastructure: In our college, there are academic facilities including classrooms with LED lighting, Wi-Fi, daylight sensors, labs, library, football ground, volleyball ground, cricket ground, tennis court, and an incubation center. The hostel is good, and in the hostel, there are balconies for fresh air. In hostel rooms, there are necessities like LAN ports, charging ports, tables, cupboards, etc. The quality of food is good, and its menu is suitable for many students from different areas. There is one mess and one cafeteria in our college. There is a medical center that provides good medicine.

Faculty: In our classes, teachers are very helpful, teaching with pictorial representations from PowerPoint, and they clarify useful doubts. Most of the faculty members in our department have PhDs from IIT Madras, IIT Bombay, and IIT Delhi. Teachers give us assignments, tutorials, surprise tests, and seminars. Definitely, in our Electronics and Communication Engineering department, there are valuable courses according to the placement cell, which are useful for internships, industry jobs, and for students' overall development. The difficulty level of semester exams depends on your attention in class while listening to the faculty's words; the exams are set according to the faculty's lectures. The pass percentage was more than 70%.

Other: Because of the Electronics and Communication department, there are more valuable courses that are useful for both coding and hardware skills. This department provides stability and is useful for studying M.Tech as well. Firstly, we have to be attentive in class hours and review the information we learned after completing class hours. There are fests like Vashist Teach Fest, Samgatha Fest, and events during festivals like Dussehra, Pongal, and Ganesh Chaturthi. There are some clubs like the Google Developer Club, Computer Science Club, Dramatics Club, and Cinematography Club.

Review of Indain Institute of information technology.

Placements: IIITDM Kancheepuram placements 2022 conclude that placements of 97% from more than 102 participating companies. A total of 279 job offers were made to the 286 participating students. Indian Institute of Information Technology, the highest package stood at 42 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our college has big rooms provided with central air conditioning, and hostel rooms are sufficient for 2 people and can accommodate easily. We can even get hot water from geysers for bathing and hot and cold water to drink. The environment is also too good for students.

Faculty: Our curriculum is very good because we have Saturday and Sunday as holidays. As it is a central government college, we can also have a lot of holidays, and I hope that it will help the students for healthy study. Semester exams are not tough if you attend every class without skips.

Other: I choose electronics communication engineering because in this society many engineering students are facing difficulty in getting jobs, so I choose ECE because we can get both CSE department jobs and ECE department jobs.

The faculty is very good, and only English-to-English communication is used.

Yes, outing is allowed, but you have to take permission by filling up an online form in which you have to fill some details and if they approve your outing request then you can go. If your outing is of one day then no need to take permission.
