Satisfied with the faculty and management of the college.

Placements: In the college around 40-45% of the students gets placed for our course. The average package offered at this college was between 3-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies were TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Philips etc. Students were getting internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure for our course. The college has Wi-Fi, labs, a library, canteen, hostel, sports, medical etc. Facilities for its students. All these facilities were properly maintained by the college management. The college offers all the modern facilities to the students for the best quality of learning.

Faculty: The faculty of the college were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of the teaching was good. The course curriculum of the IIITDM was relevant and also made the students industry-ready. Semester exams at our college were not hard to pass and the pass percentage was 80%.

My review on my B.Tech college.

Placements: As of now, placements are good. On a percentage of 90%. Most of the students from our college got placed with main companies like TCS, Wipro, Amazon, Flipkart and Google. As of now, our college's top package is around 54 LPA, on an average of 11.50 LPA for my branch.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are well hygienic and well maintained. According to accommodation, students can get full access to the library. In hostels, every room contains a LAN connection. Labs have well-equipped infrastructure. Our college encourages new talents in sports and games. And students get well-trained in games. Even our senior got selected to IPL from our college.

Faculty: My course curriculum is well structured. Our teachers are well qualified from top universities in India. People can have full access to their courses and will get well trained. Our curriculum makes us well-trained for more opportunities in top industries and top MNC companies.

Other: According to fests, don't have high expectations; there will be only two fests for the entire year.

Review of IIITDM from a mechanical student.

Placements: Placement is not that good or decent, and most of the students choose to do higher studies rather than get a job. The highest package on placement as far as I know is INR 25 LPA, and the least is INR 4 LPA so far. Samsung, Matlab, Altair, Ford, Google, Adobe, and AMD are some of the top recruiting companies. Most of them—around 85% of students—get internships.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good enough; we have a laboratory complex where almost all kinds of manufacturing machines can be found, and there are people to assist and teach to work on those machines. We have 3 hostel buildings with 14 floors; each hostel is not bad, and we have a 24/7 medical center.

Faculty: Like everywhere, we have both good faculty members and irritating faculty members. Even apart from class hours, faculty members are helping whenever needed, like for personal projects and stuff. Apart from the curriculum, there are technical clubs where we practically apply the concepts, which makes us ready for the industry.

Satisfied with the curriculum and the faculty.

Placements: As I am a second-year student, no one has got placed from our batch. I heard from our final year students that they have good placements with a salary package of 22 LPA. They told us that placements of our college have increased over the last few years. The highest salary package received was 55 LPA at Google, and it was offered off-campus.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is excellent. It has a 14-floors hostel, view from its balcony is amazing. Wi-Fi speed is 1 GBPS which is excellent. Library is air-conditioned so it feels good to study there. We have a cricket ground, football ground, basketball court, badminton hall, gym, etc. Food mess is average, once in a week, it is good.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and highly qualified. All the teachers are PhD graduates. The course curriculum is designed according to the advantage over other IIITs who do not have this course. But it is helpful only when you have an interest in it. Semester exams are hard but they follow a relative grading system so maintaining a decent CGPA is not so hard.

IIITDM Kancheepuram is one of the good colleges in India.

Placements: Approximately 60% of colleagues got internships. Some students opted for higher studies, while some got placements.

Infrastructure: As our college is not very old, the infrastructure is very good. Hostels are also well maintained. Wi-Fi speed is not up to the mark, but it is good. All classrooms are provided with internet facilities. Medical facilities are available in our institute only, so we don't have to go outside. The food served here is average.

Faculty: I am a mechanical engineering student here. There are really good faculty members here. All faculty members are highly educated, highly qualified and supportive. Their teaching quality is nice. This course is 100% relevant to the curriculum, and because of the practical work available in our course, we became perfect for the industry. Semester exams are a little bit hard.

Other: Our class strength is approximately 70-80 students. As I am a mechanical student, our college provides us with practical knowledge.

Placements for the mechanical course are poor.

Placements: For production design engineer, the average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Companies like Adobe Reader, Zentrum Labs and L&T are the best in offering a huge number of jobs. Nearly 75% of the students got placed, and there are nearly 20% of the students under our course. Roles offered are project lead, design operator, supervising, automation, coding in microprocessors and microsystems.

Infrastructure: There are individual rooms with table, chair, tube light, fan and cupboards. Wi-Fi is available for 24x7. The mess is separate for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, and it has comfortable seating. Indoor and outdoor games can be played, and there are two big grounds for cricket and football.

Faculty: Teachers are excellent, and interaction between students and teachers is great. Overall, 4 projects are given, which help students to experience the industrial ambience. The course curriculum is relevant to design and to manufacture many advanced courses like polymers, and composites supply chain is also available.

Other: I have chosen this course because it has an affordable fee structure. Many technical and cultural fests are conducted here.

There are no placements for mechanical engineering students as compared to other branches in 2020.

Placements: About 10 out of 100 students are placed in the mechanical branch, and in other branches, nearly everyone is placed. The highest salary package offered is 55 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA and the average salary package offered is 6-8 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are Saint Gobain and BrahMos Aerospace. In our course, the highest salary package offered is14 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Very few students got an internship in Ford and Daimler, but students can't expect much internships here.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of IIITDM Kancheepuram is one of the best in all over India. Wi-Fi will be fast and can be used in the hostel from 12 pm to 2 am. In academics, Wi-Fi will be available for 24 hours. Labs are the best to learn something, and mechanical labs have much equipment to train students towards 4 years and can be used to do individual projects. Books can be taken from the library on any day, and students can also check the availability of books online. If you are a sports person, then IIITDM is the right place for you. Medical facilities are good but not extraordinary, and in case of emergency, there is an ambulance. The only problem you will face is the food that is provided in the mess.

Faculty: Teachers here are very friendly and well-qualified. All the staff members have a minimum of PhD qualification. If they even ask anything out of the syllabus, then they will help you. The course curriculum is similar to Harvard University, but there are some courses which I think they are not that useful. Overall, the course curriculum is good.

Other: I have chosen this course because I heard that this course is one of the best, and even the college has some reputation. I think there is a lot of design courses in the course curriculum which can be removed. There will be only a few events, but you can enjoy them.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: 1. Only 30% of students were placed from mechanical engineering. 2. The highest package:55 Lacs, lowest:3.5 Lacs, average:10.5 Lacs 3. Saint Gobain, L&T, Daimler are the top recruiting companies. 4. Manager, project manager are the top roles offered to students. Students also got job in accounting and finance. 5. The highest package:10 Lacs, lowest:3.5 Lacs, average:6 Lacs in my course. 6. 100% of students got internship from our course. Some of the top companies like Saint Gobain, Daimler, L&T, Ashok Leyland, Ford, Wabco and many production companies like BDL, BHEL, Visakhapatnam steel plant etc.

Infrastructure: 1. I can assure you that the infrastructure of our college is one of the best among all NIT's and IIIT's. Labs and classrooms are designed perfectly for each branch. Classrooms are completely modern. Library is also good. Wi-Fi is available almost everywhere in the college and it is available for 24 hrs. 2. The best thing about our hostel is hostel rooms and Wi-Fi. Seriously You won't feel living like in a hostel. Mess is average, this is the only thing that hurts for hostel people. Many people will eat at canteens and outside the campus. Medical facilities are best, we have a separate ambulance for our college. Games are encouraged more alongside studies, there will be many sports events and tournaments are held within the campus. Each year we have sports meet for all IIIT's across India.

Faculty: 1. Definitely the professors and assistant professors are helpful for students. Teachers are well qualified and trained. You will see the best faculty among all IIIT's. They have enough knowledge to teach and the quality is best. 2. Yes, the curriculum is relevant to my course and it is perfectly designed for each branch. Yes, definitely this curriculum makes the students industry ready because each student will have to do internship for 5 months in the industry.

Other: 1. I'm interested in mechanical engineering and I find the good and relevant curriculum of this course. The best thing about my course is that you will enjoy the course, there is no difficulty in learning, you will learn with joy. 2. Though the course is mechanical design and manufacturing, some of the design courses are irrelevant and useless. 3. Events are plenty and you will enjoy it. There will be two fests in our college cultural and technical. Campus crowd is not that much but okay. Connectivity between students and teachers are very good. They are very friendly with the students. Connectivity between seniors and juniors are also good but not that expected because of ragging rules. The worst part of this college is scholarships. Initially, for 1 year they provided MCM scholarship, but now no one is receiving any scholarships even there parental income is less. Students from our college participate in many of the extracurricular activities within the nation and outside the nation.
