Placements were excellent in 2019 batch.
Placements: Placements are fine. 90% of students were placed. Median annual salary offered was somewhere around 16-17 LPA. For this programme, placement is a bit challenging but we saw great placement score in 2018-19 batch. IT and consulting were some of the areas where roles were offered. It's mandatory to do an internship with this programme. Internship interviews will also be conducted by the institute. Internship stipend ranges from 25K to 50K.
Infrastructure: The college has a great library and facilities. Students also enjoy paid subscription of some magazines. Sports facilities here are average. It is an old b-school and space allotted for games and sports is less. College has its own sports club and many talented students also. There are various clubs in this college. Hostels are decent, although the infrastructure is pretty old, but you still get AC facility. Other facilities in the hostel are also fine.
Faculty: Senior faculty members are very nice. Although some are very strict, but that is not much of an issue most of the time. You will learn a lot from all of them. They put a lot of effort in teaching. They are well experienced and give a lot of assignments to study upon. Course is very hectic. 2 years of studies is squeezed into some 4 months of studies.

Placements: Placements are top-notch in all IIMS, especially in our IIMC. Almost 100% of placements are ensured every year. The highest salary package offered was 77 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 26 LPA in 2020 final placements. Top recruiting companies like Optum, Persistent, Atos, Amazon, Virtusan, Deshpande Foundation, Golyan Group, Tata Communications, Ecom Express, Jio Mart, NISG, Bloom Global, etc., visit the college for placements.
Infrastructure: The environment of the campus focuses on intellectual and personal growth as a close-knit community. Academic and administrative building rooms are different in size and seating capacity. There are group study areas, conference rooms, lounges, libraries, world-class hostels, etc. The hostel has single room accommodations with facilities like an air-conditioner, common washing machine, fridge, TV, and microwave. The allotment of family accommodation is limited and on request only.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and excellent in teaching. MBA for executives program is mainly for professionals who have a working experience of 5 years. The curriculum follows most modern management studies and developments. It also includes company visits, academic sessions, and an international immersion module.

World class faculties with extra ordinary support for career development and job opportunities
Placements: Every Year, IIM Calcutta ensures 100% placement for all passing out batches. This year seems to be an excellent year in terms of the number of job offers and pay packages. The major recruiters are McKinsey, BCG, Brain & Co, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, E&Y, Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Amazon, Flipkart, TVS Motors, Dr Reddy's Lab and Asian Paints, etc. The roles offered in the campus placement process are Business Consultant / Management Consultant, Product Manager, programme Manager, Sr Manager Marketing, Strategy, etc.
Infrastructure: There are around 7 hostels inside the IIM Calcutta campus. These are Ramanujan Hostel / Old Hostel, VLMP Hostel, Annexe Hostel, Tagore Hostel, New Hostel, Lake View Hostel & MDC. There is a guest house named Tata Hall which is used for visitors, guests, external faculty members. All hostels, guest houses are equipped with a 24x7 LAN internet facility along with Wi-Fi. The internet speed is pretty good here. Wi-Fi signal is available anywhere inside the campus. The library facility is one of the best libraries in terms of resources, content. Every student gets an E-access to the library wherein they can get all subscriptions of international journals, publications, newspapers, etc. Apart from that, one can visit the library for physical access. The library remains open throughout the working days from morning to late night till 5:30 am. One can access the reading room facilities in the library building. It's a 3 storey building. There is a computer lab also. Every hostel has its own mess. The food served here is delicious and highly nutritious. One can order other dishes as per their wish. Moreover, there are a lot of night canteens operating inside the campus, so one can get food till 4 am in the morning. One dedicated medical facility is there inside the campus & it's supported by expert doctors with medical staff. The sports infrastructure is awesome here. The sports ground for students is equipped with 2 basketball courts, 1 hockey court, 1 football court, 1 tennis & 2 badminton court, 1 gymnasium, 1 swimming pool. The serene beauty of the campus is captivating with the presence of 7 beautiful lakes.
Faculty: The faculty members are extremely good here. All faculty members are highly qualified and experts in their respective domains. The beauty of IIM Calcutta faculty is that they do push students to discover the solution by themselves only. Here the academic syllabus is one of the rigorous programs in the country. The curriculum is well aligned with the current industry requirements. IIM Calcutta follows a case study-based methodology for classroom learning. They continue to deliver high-quality lectures even in the online mode also.
Other: I chose this course because my career aspirations were well aligned with this programme. In addition to that IIM Calcutta provides an unparalleled learning platform that transforms a students' career. Apart from that, there are a plethora of opportunities for networking. The senior mentorship programme driven by the student council is really helpful in preparing for future job roles.

This is a must join college.
Placements: Placements in college are very good. Students are from diverse backgrounds and have a target role and industry which makes it difficult to attract companies. However, due to college brand, efforts and preparedness of students, almost 90% of the students end up getting their desired role and industry.
Infrastructure: Being the oldest IIM, the infrastructure can't be an issue. We have been to foreign universities, and their facilities are not much better than ours. In addition, the campus has 7 lakes which make the landscape beautiful. There are modern multi-court sports area and a world-class gym. Hostels and other parts of campus are equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi facilities.
Faculty: The great thing or I can say the USP of the college is that the faculty members treat students as adults. This helps in improving the bonding and also facilitates the flow of thought. The faculty are world class. Most of the course has case-based pedagogy, and this bonding and treatment facilitates the thought process and generates new ideas.
Other: The college hosts cultural, sports, and business fests. Also, there are many company sponsored fests conducted around the year. The college also held a lot of panel discussions with several foreign delegates and industry experts.

PGPEX-VLM course for manufacturing executives.
Placements: Placements were good. The only thing to remember is that background work experience matters a lot and stick to it. 90% students were placed. 15-20 LPA was the range. IT, consulting, manufacturing and e-commerce were the major sectors. It's mandatory to do an internship with this program. Internship interviews will also be conducted by the institute. Internship stipend ranges from 50K to 25K.
Infrastructure: IIM C is well equipped with modern amenities, which makes it a world class institute. Wi-Fi is available in classrooms and hostels. State of the art library, on call medical facility, a fully equipped gym, wooden floored badminton court, tennis court and basketball court are present. The food quality is good and the hygiene part is taken care of(if you love Bengali cuisine, you are definitely going to love it).
Faculty: Top class faculty. They were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is very hectic and you will not get a breather. 2-year program curriculum is covered in 1 year including internship and industry tour (including a 2-week japan visit).
