IIM Kozhikode PhD Eligibility & Highlights 2024
Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode offers a PhD programme in Management, also referred to as the Doctoral Programme in Management (DPM). The institute also extends the PhD in Management- Practice Track programme. The doctoral-level course is offered by the institute in eight specialisations. Admission to this course is subject to fulfilment of academic eligibility, and accepted entrance exam score. IIM Kozhikode accepts CAT/GMAT/ GRE/ UGC JRF/IIMB Test scores. Aspirants must note that the minimum cut-off for the admission year 2023 for CAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE and IIMB Test is overall 60th percentile or equivalent.

In order to take admission to the PhD programme in IIM Kozhikode, an individual should have a post graduate course or 4-year Bachelor degree with necessary aggregate marks. Bachelor degrees such as CA/ICWA / CS are also acceptable as professional qualifications. Candidates of SC/ST/PwD/OBC may enjoy 5 percent relaxation in eligibility marks. Permanent applicants are allowed to apply as well after the final year.
IIM Kozhikode also accepts CAT, GATE, GRE, GMAT, UGC-NET, UGC-JRF and IIMB Test with valid score. The relevant exam will be based on the specialisation area of interest by the applicant. Aspirants who apply to study in Economics should also take a written test at IIMK. These scores on the tests should be less than three years to the deadline of the application.
IIM Kozhikode accepts the scores of entrance exams like CAT, GMAT, GRE, UGC NET, CSIR NET, and GATE for PhD admission. Apart from this, the institute conducts the IIMB Test for candidates who have not appeared for any of these tests. IIM Kozhikode PhD- Practice Track Application Process 2024
To get admission in PhD in Management (Practice Track), students need to submit a duly application form at the IIM Kozhikode website. The application can be submitted online. Candidates can apply to a maximum of two areas of specialisation offered under the PhD (Practice Track) programme. They also need to submit scanned copies of several documents and an application fee of INR 1,500 online.
