You can enter IISER Bhopal by taking any one of the following exams.

1. KVPY. Candidates who have recieved provisional KVPY scholarship are eligible to aplly at IISER Bhopal.
2. JEE Advanced. You must rank with in the top 10,000 students in common rank list. For Candidates from OBC/SC/ST/PwD category, their rank from respective category will be used.
3. IISER Aptitude Test (also known as IAT). Cutoff for this test changes every year so, it is best to keep yourself updated.

The cutoff differs each year based on certain things. The IISER Bhopal offers three admission channels such as the SCB (STATE CENTRAL BOARD), KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana), and IIT JEE Advanced for admission to the BS and BS-MS (Dual Degree) programmes. Based on the category rank list that is acquired from KVPY, a common rank list is generated for candidates who apply through the KVPY channel. For candidates from General Category, one needs atleast 60% in 12th grade and for SC/ST/OBC, it is 55% aggregate score in 12th grade.

Yes, anyone who scored atleast 60% in 12th grade is eligible to get admission in IISER Bhopal, as long as candidate has studied atleast three of the following subjects in 12th grade, i.e. Pysics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology.

The median package offered during BSc-MSc placements in 2022 increased by more than 18% in comparison to 2021.

Previously, five IISER Bhopal final-year students were chosen by Deloitte at IISER Bhopal placements 2022, according to data made public by IISER Bhopal. The official announcement of the 2023 placement results is still pending. Previously, 13 of the 152 BSc grads were placed in 2022. In 2021, 3 BSc students were successfully placed out of 138 total. Thirteen BSc students were placed during IISER placements in 2022, according to the report. For BSc students, the median package was INR 11.40 LPA.

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal admission to the BS-MS dual degree course is based on the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) entrance exam score. As per the IISER Bhopal cutoff 2024, the last round closing cutoff was 1318 for all the BS-MS specialisations for the General All India category students. Admission to the MSc programmes at IISER requires a Bachelor's degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA/CPI of 7.0 on a 10-point scale. Candidates who have completed their graduation in the previous year or are in their final year can also apply. The criteria for evaluating the marks/grades on the transcript/grade sheet depend on whether absolute or relative grading was used. If only marks or only grades are reported, then percentage or CGPA/CPI, respectively, will be considered. If CGPA/CPI is reported on a scale other than 10, an equivalent CGPA/CPI will be calculated using a formula.
