My honest review of my college.
Placements: Being an IIT, the college has a full potential for placements. There is a nice exposure to MBA students for working in the core companies. There are many companies to work with. I did my summer internship at Turtle, India, and my winter internship at Coal India Limited. Both online with the HR course.
Infrastructure: There are 6 hostels for males and 2 for females. All hostels are good but I love Diamond Hostel because of the heritage it has. Rooms are spacious and we need to share the room with one person. The hostel fee is included in our semester registration.
Faculty: It is a semester-based university. There is a credit-based education system, and it has a maximum of 10 credits. There are 75 marks for exams and the rest 25 marks are based on classroom performance, attendance, etc. Faculty members were very qualified in the past, but in the last 2 years, some good professors have left creating a void. The course is good but the focus is more on the theoretical aspects rather than practical. We have to take on our own initiative if we want to do something new and convenience the department once. If they are convinced, they will stand behind us to give their full support. The course curriculum is a bit outdated but professors bring lots of new topics for discussion. Pedagogy is also a bit outdated considering the fact that lots of other MBA institutes have innovative styles of teaching. Some courses are offered on a specific campus.

It is the best college in terms of ROI. It ranks 31st in NIRF rankings.
Placements: Summer placements for my batch were 100%. A few students got internships in Egypt, and a few students got internships abroad as well. Companies E&Y, RBI, IDBI, Federal Bank, Atlas Copco, Coca-Cola, Patanjali, Wellness 21, etc., offered internships. From our seniors batch, all the eligible candidates were placed in companies like Federal, IMC, KCCL, JSW, My Gate etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very old. The hostel is very old, and it is called Diamond hostel, and the new hostel is Rosaline. The old infrastructure is also maintained well. Labs are up to date. All the rooms are air-conditioned. The campus has a good swimming pool. We have a student activity centre which has lots of clubs, sports etc.
Faculty: Faculty members are very professional and friendly. The course is very student-friendly. We follow the semester system, i.e., 2 semesters per year. The college offers dual specialisation courses which are very beneficial in the global market. The course curriculum covers the recent changes according to the market.
Other: Srijan is the best event conducted in our college. The college has lots of scholarship programmes.

Satisfied with the department of management studies of IIT Dhanbad.
Placements: Placements were average but all the eligible students are placed and summer internship placements of my batch was awesome this year. Regarding placements the highest salary was offered by Federal Bank of 9.5 lakh per annum average package is 6-7 and the lowest is 5.5. For final Placements Federal bank, ITC, Berger Paints, HDFC, Jaro Education, Naukri. Com, Sokrati, Fortitude, CVRM, CCD etc. Visited the campus. For summer placements students got chance to interview with Outlook, IDBI, Ongc, Iocl, Reliance health insurance, NABARD, SBI and also we entered in collaboration with two foreign universities from Bahrain and Oman, 2 students are selected for Internship is Bahrain. There is 100 percent summer placements also the highest domestic package is 20k by Reliance, 18 By NABARD, 12k by SBI. Yes there is Placement cell which is handled by both faculty and students coordinators.
Infrastructure: Yes all the above mentioned facilities are there in Campus. Classrooms and labs are well furnished with all the required facilities. There are many canteens working in campus providing variety of food with taking care of students health. No I dint face any infrastructure issue.
Faculty: Yes our faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They are involved in various research projects allotted to them by government of India. Both classroom theoretical and practical sessions are given efficiently also we are required to work on various projects. Student to faculty ratio is 5:1. No in MBA I dint get any industry exposure apart from Internship. Yes curriculum proved very useful.
Other: Student get chance to engage themselves in various clubs like Toastmasters, Dance, Music, dramatics, athletes club, sports club etc. Also students get chance to become part of organisation like AIESEC and develop their leadership skills. Many co-curricular activities are regularly being conducted in the campus.

IIT Dhanbad - Low cost MBA
Placements: The entire batch got internship opportunities in different private and public sector companies. More than 50% of the batch was placed, with the rest opting for MBA or scoring government jobs. The highest package offered was for Coal India Limited, which was around 9 lakhs per annum.
Infrastructure: Being a part of one of the most esteemed engineering colleges in India, the management department had all the facilities. Apart from the Wi-Fi, computer labs, and nice classrooms, we also enjoyed the facilities of library, medical unit, canteen, etc. The hostels are well-equipped with good-speed Wi-Fi and have space for indoor sports activities.
Faculty: All the faculty members are well qualified and have a good understanding of their respective subjects. The curriculum for all MBA colleges is more or less the same. Each faculty members has their own way of teaching, with some focusing on notes and lectures while others emphasizing on practical usage.

THE FRUITFULNESS OF MBA PROGRAM AT IIT(ISM) DHANBAD
Placements: It's a best place to acquire knowledge from and to develop your soft skills...coming to the placement scenario we have a good training and placement group team .. college has connections with some very good companies like ITC, IDEA, AIRTEL, HYUNDAI, TATA, AMAZON, NESTLE, AXIS BANK, ACCENTURE, Coal Ind, for DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES...Having highest package of around 10 , average is around 6.0.. median is around 5.0....In roles of consultants, associates consultants, sales managers, management trainees, etc.
Infrastructure: Its an IIT so smart classrooms are there having Wi-Fi. a great green environment having 300-acre campus been built with rainwater harvesting ideas ..six well-established hostels including a hostel like JASPER that provides accommodation to 2400 students at a time. college has SAC (students activity center ) which includes all the student's activity, all types of indoor and outdoor sports. Sports include a beautiful swimming pool also.
Faculty: According to my knowledge, any college should be judged by its teaching strengths first. In which IIT DHANBAD stands really at a very good place. we have a 16 permanent faculties who are very well qualified from some well-known universities like IIT KANPUR AND DELHI, BHU, etc. We have a great set of faculties, well educated and well experienced who belongs to some well-known colleges like IITD, IITK, BHU, etc. We have some exposures from different PSUs like ONGC, CIL, etc. Our MBA course is divided into 4 semesters including all the basic materials that should be in management studies .. we take two specialization for 3rd & 4th sem.. among operations, human resources, finance, marketing.
Other: It's a very good place to study if you want to see yourself in a well-known government organization and want to get an MBA degree as well as a brand of IIT, that adds a great value to you. the return on investment is very good as the course fee for the entire 2 years is 300000 (three lakh) only. where some government scholarships are also available that makes you study here for free.

Its worth to join it, good facilities, good infrastructure, good faculty , good environment.
Placements: Placement scenario is good in IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. Almost 80% seniors were placed in starting phase and rest of them will be placed soon as our placement cell is doing very hard word for placement of our senior batch. Airtel, Aircel, Idea, ITC etc has visited during placement. The highest package which was offered was of about 12 lakh per annum and lowest was 3.5 LPA. Most of the seniors are placed in marketing and business analytics. Some of them got offers in HR.
Internship scenario is very good in our college, 100% students got the internship from the college in most reputed companies like Coca-Cola, Raymond, IOCL, IDBI Bank, SBI with the highest stipend of 12000 per month.
Infrastructure: The college has a very good infrastructure. It has Asia's biggest library, biggest student activity center of Jharkhand, greenery campus, AC classroom, two grounds and its own medical facilities which are open to college students and employees 24x7. It has a swimming pool, skating club, chess club, radio jockey club, own rock band, two tennis court and lots more.
The food which served in the canteen is of hotel quality at a reasonable price, and the hostel which is provided to the students are well furnished with 24x7 light, water, and wifi facilities. The college is so good that I have never faced any problem during my tenure at the college.
Faculty: The faculty is very helpful and knowledgeable. They are highly qualified and know what to teach to a student, which way to choose so that student could understand completely and if any query arises they try to answer it immediately. Faculty members use PPT, videos, case-study, guest lecture, and the many other interactive ways to teach the students. Student to faculty ratio is about 10/1. I'm currently interning and my classmates too so yes we get the industry exposure. The curriculum is according to the industry, it is completely relevant to the business environment.

JOIN FSS,BHU TO LIVE 3 YEARS OF LIFE
Placements: There is no placement for B.A students as such, few companies visit the campus for the placement for the whole UG courses and in that student have to compete to get placement, hardly 5-7 students are placed and the package is something around 12k-15K monthly and most of them were of sales profile.
Course curriculum do not have any kind internship, so no companies do not come for internship.
Infrastructure: There are two library one is faculty library, the other one is a central library from a student can get the books, the college also has computer library where students can use the computer to explore things. College have its own Medical hospital i.e Sir Sunderlal Hospital where students can get their treatment for free. Hostels have a very traditional kind of infrastructure with decent food and 24*7 internet service, light and ground. College also does have its a separate playing ground where various sports were played.
Faculty: This is the only reason that one should join this course, the faculty for each subject is brilliant, perfectly qualified with great teaching experience with global experience as being a premium faculty most of them have represented BHU on the global platform.
About the course curriculum, its moreover theoretical kind off a curriculum you will get nothing to learn as practical knowledge the only problem with this course structure.
As a UG student Industrial visit in Eco (Hons) would hardly matter.
Other: BHU is a dream place for the students of any background and its very hared to crack the entrance exam as the competition is very high,so I would say prepare the exams crack it come to BHU and feel the real taste of studying in BHU. One thing I would suggest come here to get knowledge and degree not for the placement.

Other: The placements are not good. Though a few PSU do recruit the students, the placement record is on a decline on a yearly basis. The faculty is good and the infrastructure is exceptionally good.
The college has a nice campus life.
Now it has even become an IIT.
It’s soon going to be called as ISM-IIT, Dhanbad. It boasts of the biggest library. Almost all extra-curricular activities are available including sports facilities. The teachers are exceptionally good. Student profile has been on a decline in the Management Department.
But it's more than any other private institution.
Student life is good.
