Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mine), Dhanbad detailed review.

Faculty: Teachers are very well educated. Most of them are quite helpful too. Course curriculum is very relevant, follows NEP. Multiple industry-relevant tools are in the curriculum, including MATLAB, STAAD, AutoCAD, etc. Semester exams are moderately difficult, sometimes hard. Around 90 percent of students clear without any backlogs.

College is good if you can compromise with campus and college life.

Faculty: The course is good, at least the core courses of the branch, although there are a few useless courses. Faculty members, I would say some are really good, but some are egoistic and useless. Some just expect students to memorize everything and want us to do the same. They don't award marks if you don't follow their method.

Good and enjoyable life on campus, along with our hard work.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and good at explaining concepts and are available in their departmental cabins most of the time if we have any doubts. They have good experience. Our course curriculum is good, and it keeps updating according to conceptual understanding and industrial requirements. But more than going with the curriculum, we have to do hard work in other skills also, our curriculum can't teach all skills. Our minds are medium, it's just based on concept and application. Our end-semester exam...

It is a great platform for learning.

Faculty: Teachers here are highly qualified and professional. We are provided class notes along with assignments and tutorials. Along with these, we have well-equipped labs for the required courses. What I feel is that the common courses in the first year may not be relevant for all students, still, that is through the lens of a first-year undergraduate. The course curriculum is highly relevant and makes us industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exams basically depends on the course and profess...

Review of IIT Dhanbad (ISM) - Indian Institute of Technology (ISM).

Faculty: The faculty are too old-fashioned and strict, especially in the Mechanical branch. Mining professors are too harsh here, and the exams, especially in the Mechanical branch, are too hard to score as they ask questions from the reference textbook, so you need to go through them for practice. Maintaining a CGPA is a difficult task in both core and non-core Mechanical branches, but there is the advantage of almost every company opening for the Mechanical branch.

The campus has a classic environment, well-trained faculty, and good placements every year.

Faculty: Teachers are well-trained. Their tactics in designing exam papers are really awesome. Teaching is also good. They use the digital projector for displaying slides. They also use the smart board to explain. They will also update the course based on time and current situation to make students ready to face the competition in the industrial world with updated skills, somehow we learn them at least by clubs. The pass percentage is about 90-95 percent.

Great college with top faculty, strong labs, good facilities, and excellent placements.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. As I was studying CSE, the course was a little bit hard to study for the semester, as the exam papers tend to be difficult. When it comes to the pass percentage, almost everyone will pass. It's hard to score the highest marks in a semester, but it's okay to pass the semester.
