There are multiple steps involved in the IIT Goa admission that need to be followed to get into the institute. STEP 1: IIT Goa MTech Application Process 2025

Candidates seeking admission to the MTech programme at IIT Goa must visit the official website of GATE, and apply for entrance. The application fee for GATE is non-refundable and non-transferable. In order to apply for GATE, candidates follow the step-wise application process as mentioned below:

Step 1.1: Visit the official website of GATE and register.

Step 1.2: Fill the application form with relevant personal, educational, and other details in the empty fields.

Step 1.3: Upload the required documents in the right size and format.

Step 1.4: Pay the GATE application fee through a convenient online payment mode.

Step 1.5: Accept the declaration and click on the 'Submit' button to complete the application process.

The list of documents to be submitted at the time of the GATE application for MTech is given below:

• Image of candidate's signature
• Passport-size photograph with white background (JPEG/ JPG format only)
• Scanned copy of Category certificate (for SC/ST) in pdf format
• Scanned copy of PwD Certificate (if applicable) in pdf format
• Scanned copy of Certificate of Dyslexia (if applicable) in pdf format
• Scanned copy of a valid photo Identity proof such as an Aadhaar-UID (preferable)/ Passport/ PAN Card/ Voter's ID/ Driving License (Candidates must carry the same ID (in original) to the examination hall)

STEP 2: Selection Criteria

Following the GATE exam, candidates are required to register on the COAP portal, on which the list of GATE-qualified candidates is released. Once the GATE process is complete, students are also required to register on the IIT Goa website.

STEP 3: Admission Confirmation
