IIT Jammu MTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
IIT Jammu MTech course is offered across different specialisations. Some of the offered course specialisations are Data Science, VLSI Design, etc. Admission to this course is based on a GATE score followed by COAP counselling. Eligible students seeking admission must qualify for the entrance exam for admission to IIT Jammu. Candidates who wish to apply to MTech at IIT Jammu must have a valid GATE score. The candidates are screened based on their CGPI in BE/BTech and GATE scores.

IIT Jammu MTech Fees 2024
IIT Jammu fee is cumulative of various components like tuition fees, security deposit, hostel fees, mess fees, and more. The tuition fee, hostel fee and other such components payment is accepted annually or semester-wise. The admission fee amount has to be paid to secure a seat in the desired IIT Jammu course. Yes, while applying for the MTech programme at IIT Jammu, a student has to first register compulsorily on COAP portal. It is also mandatory for all candidates with valid GATE score to register at COAP (Common Offer Acceptance Portal) and use the COAP registration number while filling the application form of IIT Jammu. The application fee for M.Tech registration at IIT Jammu portal is INR 200 for SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates and INR 300 for other category candidates.

IIT Roorkee has released GATE 2025 exam dates on its official website. The GATE 2025 exam was conducted on 1,2,15 and 16 February 2025. GATE 2025 exam was conducted in multiple days and multiple shifts for all 30 papers. The GATE paper timings was Morning (9:30 am to 12:30 pm) and Afternoon (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm).
The minimum eligibility required is a bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science (4-year course) or a master's degree in Science with marks not below the specified minimum. Relaxation of 5% aggregate or 0.5 CPI is offered to SC/ST/PwD category candidates on the minimum eligibility score.
