Yes, candidates seeking admission to a M.Tech course of IIT Goa must eligibility and selection requirements. The institute offer admission based on performance in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). There is no other provision for selection. Candidates shortlisted based on exam scores have to further take part in the round of counselling.

No, candidates can only get into IIT Goa for M.Tech on the basis of GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) scores followed by COAP counselling. There is no provision for Management quota or direct entry available at the college. Prior preparation is very important as the competition is very high and seats are limited.
