No, candidates cannot join IIT Indore without taking an entrance exam. Admission to UG/PG courses at IIT Indore is based on national level entrance exams such as JEE MAIN, JEE Advanced, GATE. IIT Indore offers UG, PG, Dual Degrees and PhD courses in the streams of Engineering and Science. The institute provides full time specialisations in courses such as BTech, MTech, MS, MSc, and PhD.

At the UG level, programs include BTech in disciplines including Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering.
