After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. The cost of BSc at IIT Patna has total tuition fees of around INR 2.4 Lakhs - INR 10 Lakhs. Students must also pay other fees such as hostel fees, security deposit, etc.

No, there is no provision of a student studying free at IIT Patna as per the official website. However, IIT Patna provides a range of Merit-Cum-Means scholarships to meritorious and needy students. To get admission at IIT Patna, candidate must qualify GATE COAP. IIT Patna GATE COAP cutoff 2024 has been concluded for admission to the MTech courses. In the meantime, students can refer to the table below to check out the GATE COAP 2021 cutoff scores for General AI categories.
The flagship course of IIT Patna is BTech. The four year BTech programme is offered in 11 specialisations. Admission to all BTech courses is subject to a valid score in JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams. Students also need to go through the counselling process conducted by JoSAA for final seat allotment. Yes, IIT Patna does offer financial support to its PhD students. However, candidates of the self-financed category of PhD courses are not offered any financial assistance at IIT Patna.
