According to media reports, 207 students received job offers during the first phase of IIT Patna placements 2025. More than 15 students secured packages above INR 60 LPA while 12 students have landed international job offers. IIT Patna average package 2025 stood at INR 25.52 LPA.
IIT Patna witnessed participation from over 70 leading companies that offered roles in multiple profiles including Data Science, Software Engineering, Consulting, Business Analytics and R&D. Companies such as Google, Microsoft, Flipkart and Accenture made 13, 9, 7 and 6 offers, respectively during IIT Patna placements 2025.

IIT Patna has a dedicated placement cell that bridges the gap between potential employers and students. Placement process at IIT Patna begins in the month of December and continues till April next year. Usually, IITs conduct its placement drives in two phases. IIT Phase 1 placement process starts in December whereas the Phase 2 placement process starts in April.
The average package for IIT Patna 2024 for r BTech, MTech and MSc programs stood at around INR 17 LPA, INR 15 LPA and INR 7 LPA, respectively, with more than 300 offers been made and 210 companies visiting, according to the placement brochure 2024-25.

The average package for BTech,MTech and MSc students during IIT Patna placements 2024 were INR 17 LPA, INR 15 LPA and INR 7 LPA, respectively. 210 companies visited the campus, and made more than 300 offers. A total of 15 international offers were also made, helping in reaching a placement rate of 77.92% for BTech and 61.01% for MTech.
