IIAD Course Admission 2026: Last Date, Fees, Eligibility, Selection & Application Process

Yes, IIAD admissions are entirely entrance-based for all its UG & PG courses. IIAD conducts entrance exam for admission both Designing and Management courses. Indian Institute of Art and Design offers BDes in various specialisations for the duration of 4 years. The Institute offers admission to the respective course on the basis of merit and IIAD Entrance Exam. Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Class 12 in any stream secured from a recognised board. The Institute offers BDes for the total tuition fees worth INR 23.2 Lakh. IIAD Delhi campus offers an annual intake of 160 students.

Indian Institute of Art and Design considers Class 12 and graduation aggregate secured from recognised board and university/institute. Furthermore, candidates must secure valid scores in iDAT and iMAT to qualify for the further process. Furthemore, candidates must appear for the personal interview round for the final shortlisting. For final admission, candidates must appear for the document verification and pay the fees to confirm a seat.

Candidates who are willing to get admission to a UG level desigining course of BDes at IIAD Delhi must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Aspirants who passed Class 12 with 50% aggregate in the streams in Science/Commerce/Arts from CBSE/ ISC/State/IB or any other equivalent Indian or International Higher Secondary Board are eligible to apply for the course. Afte fulfilling the eligibility critreria, next step is to appear for IDAT exam. 

In order to get admission to BBA at IIAD, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria, i.e., to pass Class 12 with 50% aggregate in the streams in Science/ Commerce/ Arts from CBSE/ ISC/ State/ IB or any other equivalent Indian or International Higher Secondary Board. For admission to this course, IIAD conducts an entrance exam, i.e., IIAD Management Aptitude Test (IMAT) in both online and offline modes for admission to its UG courses in the stream of Management. The final selection is based on the personal interview round conducted at the institute.

In order to get admission to MDes course, candidates must meet the educational requirements as per the course. IIAD Delhi application process is completely online. IIAD applications usually start with the registrations for the respective entrance exams. Check out the following steps to fill IIAD application form:

2. Click on ‘Online Application Form’.
3. Click on ‘New Application’ and register with the basic details.
4. Login with the credentials and fill the application form.
5. Upload the documents and pay the application fee.
6. Submit and print the application form for further reference.

The total fee for a four-year BA course at IIAD is INR 21.1 lakh. This fee is taken from unofficial sources and hence, is indicative. IIAD Delhi provides merit-cum-means scholarships to deserving students who qualify for the IIAD Entrance Test. The scholarship is granted on the basis of performance in the IIAD Entrance Test, the Statement of Purpose in the scholarship form, as well as the financial need of the students. The scholarship provides a percentage of tuition fee waiver.
