The duration of a PG Diploma course at IIMC Delhi is one-year. These courses are divided into two semesters. Students have to pass each semester to become eligible to get Diploma at the end of the course. The executive diploma course of the institute is 6-months long.

The minimum qualification required is graduation to apply for admission. Here is the course-wise eligibility criteria for IIMC Delhi:

IIMC Delhi's recording and editing and non-linear digital video editing systems are the best. IIMC has extensive facilities and over two dozen DSLR cameras. IIMC Delhi offers admission to MA programme based on CUET-PG scores. The institute gives 85% weightage to the entrance-exam. Selected candidates are further called for a personal interview round. 15% weightage is given to PI round conducted by the institute. Besides, aspirants must complete their graduation for admission to MA.

IIMC Delhi is a goverenment university which was established in 1965. Being a government institute, the fee is not very high and is made affordable by the means of the scholarships. This governemnt isntitute offers PG and PG Diploma courses to students. These courses are provided across Media Business Studies, Journalism, and various other streams.

For admission to a IIMC New Delhi PG Diploma course, candidate should have passed bachelor's degree programme from a recognised university. In addition, the aspirants appearing for the final year examinations can also apply. However, the admission is then offered on provisional basis and is confirmed only after the submission of the pass certificates. The certificate must be submitted by Sep 30 of the admission year. Moreover, the candidates age should not be more than 25 years as of Aug 1 (30 years for SC/ST/PWD category candidates).

IIMC Delhi cutoff 2023 for the two courses including Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism (English) and Post Graduate Diploma in Radio and TV Journalism is based on IIMC Entrance Exam scores followed by the round-wise Counselling. Candidates with a valid cutoff are further called for further counselling rounds. IIMC Counselling 2023 was concluded after Round 5 Seat Allotment results. Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Aizawl offers only two post-graduate courses, namely Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism English and Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Media. At present, the temporary IIMC, Aizawl campus is located inside the campus of Aizawl University. However, The duration of both Post Graduation Diploma courses is one year.
