IIT Jodhpur offers a 2 year MSc course in 5 specialisations, including Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Digital Humanities, and Computational Social Science. Admission to IIT Jodhpur MSc course is through the all-India level Joint Admission Test for Master's (JAM) conducted by IITs. The reservation policy is adapted as suggested by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. School of Liberal Arts, IITJ offers a 2-year flagship MSc course in Computational Social Science (CSS). Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 60% in graduation and qualify the counselling round to secure the final seat at the Institute.

Candidates aiming for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) need to meet these cutoff marks in JEE Mains to be eligible for JEE Advanced 2026.

Admission to the BSc programme offered at IIT Jodhpur will be entrance-based. JEE Advanced admit card will be released by the exam conducting authority around the month of May just before the scheduled date for the exam for IIT Jodhpur BSc course.

IIT Jodhpur is located on the outskirts of Jodhpur city, in its sprawling 852 acres campus. Most of the Faculty Members, Officers, and Students reside on campus, while some Faculty and Staff Members opt to stay in the city in private accommodation.  Admission to the course is entrance-based. Aspirants are required to take JEE Main and JEE Advanced. The selected students based on merit in JEE Advanced further have to participate in JoSAA rounds of counselling.
