To seek admission in BTech at IIT Jodhpur, candidates need to apply via JEE Main followed by the JEE Advanced application. The application process for JEE involves form registration, form filling, document upload, and payment of the application fee. For applicants’ reference, the steps involved in the application process are as follows:

I am fully satisfied with the facilities.

Placements: In my course almost 80% of students were placed last year with decent packages, the average package is around 20 Lacs and the highest package is 53 lacs. Top recruiters include companies like Google, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Flipkart and Zomato. The top roles offered are management, Sides, and financial.

Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are quite good. There are single AC rooms for everyone currently, desk, bed, and cupboard are there in each room. Wi-Fi is available across the whole campus. The library remains open 24/7 and the classrooms and labs are quite good and as per the standards.

Faculty: Faculty members are quite good and all of them are helpful. Their teaching methodology is very good and as per the needs of the students. They are easily approachable and friendly. Semester exams are moderate and depend a lot on the course.

Other: The best thing about this course is that it is well-updated and goes hand in hand with the current scenario. There are many events and fests throughout the year namely, the Prometeo-teach fest, Ignus-cult fest, etc.

Central government college IIT Jodhpur.

Placements: In our branch, 80% of students got placed. Our course has good upscales. The highest is 55 LPA. The lowest is 5 LPA. The average is 18 LPA. Google is one of the top recruiters in our course. 80% of students got internships. Roles are SDE and product manager.

Infrastructure: We have a single room in the hostel and Wi-Fi for each lobby. We have a library and classroom access. The hostel facilities are quite good. We get full privacy. The food quality of the mess is manageable but not that good as we get the same food for a week and the all others are also good.

Faculty: Teachers help us in many ways. They try to teach us and help us to solve our doubts if we have any personally. The course curriculum is very good and makes us follow the course and sync it with the industry routine. The semesters are difficult. The pass percentage is relatively low.

Other: I like AIDE due to my interest in the new AI world and a new model to understand society. We have many events and fests to interact with.

The infrastructure is good, and new buildings and lecture halls are being made.

Placements: Almost 80 to 90 percent of students got placement. The average package is 2,700,000, and the median package is 1,800,000. The highest package of this year is 61 Lacs. Companies that visit the college for placement and internships are Google, Swiggy, and Zomato. The top roles in my college are AI, ML, and software engineering.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is available 24/7. Regular labs for all subjects are happening. We got single rooms in our hostel, and we also got AC. Sports facilities are decent. I play cricket here, and I have all the facilities for cricket in my college. There is also a primary health center. The batch strength is almost 550.

Life at IIT Jodhpur: A comfortable and fun experience at college.

Placements: Till now, more than 60% of students got placed. Around 10% of students are preparing for further higher studies. The average package is around 16 LPA. Companies like Google, Samsung, BNY Mellon, Zomato, etc., come to IIT Jodhpur for placements. The lowest package is around 6 LPA. The highest package is 56 LPA in our college.

Infrastructure: There are separate departments for almost all branches. We have ACs in academic buildings, hostels, mess, labs, etc. It makes us survive in the heat of Rajasthan. The infrastructure of IIT Jodhpur is pretty new and hence has a good quality. A physical health centre is present inside the campus. The mess quality is satisfactory and considered better than most of the IITs.

Faculty: The curriculum is fixed for each programme you enrol in. Minor changes are made based on students' requirements. The curriculum mainly focuses on motivating students to go for research and higher studies. However, it prepares us to solve real-world application-based problems. The difficulty level of exams is medium to hard.

Other: The campus is less crowded than tier 1 IITs which is a good thing. You pretty much know everyone which is a good thing for creating a bond with people. Connectivity with the city is bad considering how far it is from the main city. I chose this college because the course I was taking was of my interest. Many fests are seen in this college which creates a good environment for developing extracurricular activities.

College have good infrastructure and facilities like hostel and mess.

Placements: Placements in my college are at an average level now. Placement rate in Computer Science is the highest and around 98%. The average package is around 17 LPA. The placement rate in the bioengineering branch is not good as I thought. It was around 56% in the previous year.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of IIT Jodhpur's hostel is too good. Well-placed sitting of rooms. Every room has one AC, one chair, one almirah, and one study table. In the first year, we have 4 grade courses, 3 labs, and 4 non grade course. A total of 560 students are divided into two groups of the same strength. That's all.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful in class as well as outside the class (doubt-clearing session). Also, course curriculum is too relevant. Exams, course-wise quizzes, one minor exam, and one major exam are conducted. The schedule of minor and major exams is provided at least 10-20 days from the date of exam.

Partially satisfied with the college due to very high strictness.

Placements: 96% of students got placed. The highest package is 61 LPA. The average is 10 LPA. The lowest is 2 LPA in the CSE department. Google, Amazon, and many Japanese companies have a strong relation with our college. 60% of students got placed at Nvidia and Microsoft.

Infrastructure: We got a single loving room with highly satisfying facilities. We got a good mess. There are two messes. One for veg and one for non-veg mess which provides better satisfaction to people who don't eat non-veg. The Wi-Fi facilities here aren't so great. There is very slow speed internet.

Faculty: Teachers are not helpful. Their accent is weird and I don't even understand what they teach which came to be a major reason for my skipping classes frequently. However, they have great qualifications. The subjects are very weird. I don't think they will help. It makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately tough.
