M.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration 

at IHM Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar

For M.Sc. admission, IHM Ahmedabad accepts the following two entrance exam results:

The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination, or NCHMCT JEE, is a national entrance exam that the NCHMCT administers to candidates seeking admission to hotel management and hospitality programs in India.
The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) administer the 
CommonAptitude Test (CAT) to prospective students seeking admission to their postgraduate management programs.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT): The All India Management Association (AIMA) administers the MAT, a national management aptitude test, to candidates seeking admission to different management programs throughout India. Using any of these three entrance exam results, candidates can apply to IHM Ahmedabad for admission to the M.Sc. program. The candidate's performance in the final selection will be determined by entrance exam, personal interview and GD.

The eligibility criteria for M.Sc at IHM Ahemdabad for a student, they have to pass the graduation with minimum 55% marks in graduation and scoring in jee, if students secure the rank under 139 then they will get this reputed college.The NCHMCT-IGNOU Bachelor of Hospitality and Hotel Administration degree requires a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management from an approved university with AICTE accreditation.

Last date to apply for NCHM JEE exam 2025 was 15th January 2025. The registrations for the exam started from 16th December 2024. The NCHM JEE 2025 exam was held on 27th April 2025. 

IHM Ahmedabad's B.Sc. Graduates have a high placement rate. Ninety-eight percent of B.Sc. Graduates in 2022 found employment six months after finishing their program. An annual salary package of Rs 2.5 lakhs was the average that was offered. The Oberoi Group, Hyatt, ITC, JW Marriott, The Fern, IHG, Accor, Madhuban Resorts, Express Hotels, McDonald's, Faasos, Reliance, Arvind, and other prominent recruiters are among the top employers.

As per the official website, 90% of students got jobs in campus placement interviews for the year 2022. However, as per the official website, 137 students registered for placements and 20 companies visited the campus during the placement drive 2019. The highest and average package offered was INR 3.60 LPA and INR 1.98 LPA, respectively. Furthermore, the lowest package offered was INR 1.56 LPA and top recruiters visited the IHM Ahmedabad campus such as ITC, The Oberoi Group, and McDonald's among others.
