The Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS) at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in Varanasi, offers a Doctor of Medicine (MD) program in various specializations. The final answer keys for the NEET 2024 re-exam was released by June 30, ahead of the result declaration. Earlier, the result of NEET 2024 was declared by NTA on June 4, 2024, 10 days ahead of the original schedule, which was June 14, 2024. NTA released the final NEET answer keys on June 4, prior to the release of the NEET result 2024. The NEET result was declared in an online mode. Candidates have to log in with their registration credentials or application number and date of birth, and download their scorecard in PDF format. NTA also released the merit list containing the name, Roll Number, All India Rank and Percentile of the candidates. Along with the NEET 2024 scorecard, NTA also released the NEET 2024 cutoff marks or the qualifying marks/scores. 

IMS BHU offers a 4-year UG-level BSc (Nursing) course. It can be challenging to get into IMS BHU for BSc (Nursing), given the fact that the cut-offs are high and the seat intake is 100. Candidates must qualify Class 12 or equivalent with subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English). Candidates must seek the Class 12 qualification from a recognised Board/ University with at least 45% marks and also qualify the entrance exams considered for the admission process by the Institute.

IMS BHU offers an MD in Anaesthesiology PG level course for a 3-year duration with a total tuition fee of INR 1.22 Lakh. MD in Anaesthesiology provides 31 seats for a full-time mode. The one-time admission fee consists of INR 3400. The median salary after doing an MD in Anaesthesiology, as per the statistics of 2022, reaches INR 20 Lakh.
