 Institute of Medical Sciences BHU accepts admission based on national entrance exams. The institute accepts national entrance exams such as NEET, CUET, and others. IMS BHU admission requires a minimum aggregate of 50% in Class 12  (PCB). Furthermore, they must qualify NEET UG for their category that is, OBC/ General/ EWS. 

BHU owns an Anti-Ragging Squad and Monitoring Cell which runs by certain rules and regulations and exists to look after the adherence of anti-ragging policy on the campus. BHU follows serious measures against ragging and believes in eradicating the ragging culture from the campus 100%. The campus is under constant surveillance and has CCTV coverage of the entire campus as well.

The reservation policy for NEET counselling is as per the landmark judgement passed by the Supreme Court of India in 2021, here would be 27 per cent OBC quota in NEET (Non-Creamy Layer) and 10 per cent NEET reservation for EWS in 15 per cent Under Graduate (UG) All India Quota seats (MBBS/BDS) (contributed by the State/UTs to the Central Pool). GICED offers various courses such as PG Diploma, B.Sc, diploma, BMS, BA, MA and B Des etc. All the courses offered by GICED are ranked significantly by the students but the Bachelor of Design course and post graduate Diploma are the highest rated courses and ranked on top by the students.

MBA admission is done through SMAT exam and Bsc is 45 percent in 12th as a minimum criteria.

Balaji institute of modern management (BIHMM) offers various disciplinary courses which includes a general MBA Degree, a degree in Marketing management, a degree in PM&HRM and a degree in marketing. But the top rated course in BIHMM is management and human resources development.  MBA course fee is around 11.9 LPA and min criteria is 50 percent in graduation whereas executive MBA fee is around 9.6 lpa.

Institute of Medical Sciences is the medical school of Banaras Hindu University which is residential and co-educational just like the other institutions of the university. After qualifying the relevant entrance exam, candidates must participate in the counseling process conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee.
