- The CUET PG 2026 results have been released for admission to various PG-level courses. The counselling schedule will be out soon.
- The CUET UG 2026 registration portal is now closed for admission to several UG courses. The CUET exam 2026 will be conducted from May 11 to May 31, 2026.
- The NEET MDS 2026 exam has been conducted for admission to the MDS course. The result for the same will be announced by Jun 2, 2026.
- The AIAPGET 2026 application form for admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses will tentatively be released in May 2026.
- The NEET PG 2026 exam date has been set as Aug 30, 2026 (tentatively) for admission to the MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses.

There are a total of 86 courses offered at by the institute. These courses are offered across fields of Nursing and Medicine & Health Sciences, etc. They are available at the UG and PG levels. These courses include BSc, B.Pharma, M.Sc, and MD, etc. Admission to some of the programmes is subject to merit in the last qualifying exam and for some courses, admission is entrance-based. For last year, the closing rank for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) was 30353 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU.
The rank required to get admission to BAMS at Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU varies every year and is based on the NEET-UG entrance exam scores obtained by the candidates. The cutoff marks are the minimum marks required to be eligible for the next round of the selection process. The selection process includes counseling and seat allotment based on the candidate's rank in the NEET-UG entrance exam. The category-wise cutoff for BAMS in the NEET-UG percentile for the general category is 50th and for SC/ST/OBC it is 40th. The safest score for BHU should be 450+ and for UP government colleges, it should be approximately 400.
NTA released the re-revised scorecard on July 26, 2024. In this scorecard, the score has been revised as per the Supreme Court verdict of removing the bonus marks awarded earlier for the controversial Physics question, and deducting one mark from those who marked incorrect answer options. The city and centre-wise result data such as number of candidates appeared and scores obtained, by masking candidates' personal data was released on July 21, as per the Supreme Court order given on the hearing dated July 18, 2024. The NEET 2024 result for the re-exam, which was conducted on June 23, was declared on July 1, day day after the slated date. The final answer keys for the NEET 2024 re-exam was released by June 30, ahead of the result declaration. Earlier, the result of NEET 2024 was declared by NTA on June 4, 2024, 10 days ahead of the original schedule, which was June 14, 2024. NTA released the final NEET answer keys on June 4, prior to the release of the NEET result 2024. The NEET result was declared in an online mode. Candidates have to log in with their registration credentials or application number and date of birth, and download their scorecard in PDF format. NTA also released the merit list containing the name, Roll Number, All India Rank and Percentile of the candidates. Along with the NEET 2024 scorecard, NTA also released the NEET 2024 cutoff marks or the qualifying marks/scores.

The reservation policy for NEET counselling is as per the landmark judgement passed by the Supreme Court of India in 2021, here would be 27 per cent OBC quota in NEET (Non-Creamy Layer) and 10 per cent NEET reservation for EWS in 15 per cent Under Graduate (UG) All India Quota seats (MBBS/BDS) (contributed by the State/UTs to the Central Pool). BHU Scholarship Benefits
In order to avail BHU Scholarship, students must fulfill the following criteria:

MBBS admission to BHU, Institute of Medical Sciences, is mainly based on NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) Candidates must have the minimum percentage marks required in NEET and they attend MCC (Medical Counseling Committee) counselling. Seats are allotted on the basis of NEET category, candidates’ choice, availability of seats. Once seats are allotted, candidates are verified and the required entry fee is paid. It is important to frequently check the institutional website and MCC updates for accurate information on admission procedures and deadlines.
Candidates have to pay both refundable and non refundable fees for UP NEET 2025 counselling registration. The non refundable fees for UP NEET 2025 counselling is INR 2,000.
