A review - IoT, University of Kashmir.
Placements: The placement rate of our college is very low. Our batch has only 2 placed students out of 70 students. The recruiter was Vedanta. Students apply for internships on their own capacity. The college does not provide any kind of assistance to students.
Infrastructure: We have good infrastructure available. Our hostels and classrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi facilities. Hostels are provided to students based on distance criteria. Good quality veg and non-veg food is provided based on a menu framed by students. Medical facilities are provided 24/7 to students.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful; they provide assistance to students. However, the students are not industry-ready. The level of skills is very poor. Practical work is provided very less, resulting in low student skills. The semester exams, conducted by the university, are moderately tough.

Best college in North Kashmir.
Placements: Students are eligible for campus placement after 6 semesters. There are many companies that come for placement like Goldman Sachs, Facebook Infosys, L&T, and many more. This year there are 110 percent offers that will come to our college campus. In the CSE department, all students were placed and overall 70 percent of students were placed. I won't take placement in the IT sector as I am not much interested in that .
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for studying is really good and eco friendly. The hostel provides a fan, a bed and one almirah, a table, chair, and Wi-Fi. There are two students living in a single room. The hostel provides all the basic things. Meal quality is good and provided according to the menu. Meal quality and menu rate according to me are 8.5 out of 10. College provides a link in Gmail id for all students, those who want to live in a hostel can fill out this form. And hostel will provide accordingly.
Faculty: Faculty members are very cooperative. Maximum faculty members are Ph.D. and are very good in their respective subjects. The faculty and student ratio is overall good you don't need to worry about it. Even exams and class tests are taken every 3 months. Besides that general tests of topics are going on with the course syllabus also. I choose B.Tech because of my interest in experiments and engineering. The teaching was really good. The semester exams were of moderate difficulty and almost 70% students qualified easily.
Other: From my childhood I was inclined towards making different things. Besides that I think in engineering field there are different fields for the job and many job opportunities all over the world. In my campus many events were held annually which included dance singing etc. Many co cirrucular activities were also done there.

Well, the college is average, but there is scope for a lot of improvements.
Placements: I worry about placements because this year only 4 people were selected. Out of them, 2 were from rural areas and 2 were from urban areas. I fear for the future of my career. The placement is really messed up, even the seniors had the same views on it, so you would have to keep this in mind and not rely on the college for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is alright, for better or worse, but it can have a bit of improvement. The overall view is really nice though. But you would here and there face problems with hygiene and all in bathrooms, etc. The classes are good, the teachers care about your studies a lot and are helpful. But the labs don’t have good quality stuff, and the Chemistry lab doesn’t have all the required things. Also, the teachers can ruin your career anytime, so you would have to be good with them and be really cautious about it.
Faculty: The curriculum can have a bit of improvement, as the exams can be a bit overwhelming for some people because the assignments and all are really given one after the other. You hardly get any time for self-study. The attendance scene is really bad.
Other: I think the attendance can be lowered, and there should be more focus on practicals and all, rather than focusing on attendance maintenance and copying things.
