There is a need for improvement in the lab facility.

Placements: In our college placement is good and we are learning many new software apart from the syllabus. So that the companies coming for placement are taking them easily. Starting from a Graduate Engineering Trainee to a Site Supervisor, we are getting jobs in our college.

Infrastructure: In our department, we have highly calibrated costly equipment like Universal Testing Machines and Soil Testing Apparatus. All our classrooms are provided with fans and labs with air conditioning. We also have a medical facility (College of Nursing) on our campus itself.

Faculty: The teachers in our college are very helpful and qualified. The teaching quality is fair and they use both Tamil and English to teach. The course curriculum is relevant and we are now ready to face the industry with confidence. The semester system is standard.

Other: I chose the course to get a government job. Need more practical training to improve from my department's side. Many one-day workshops are organized by our department.

Worth and value for money.

Placements: In our college, nearly 85 percent of students have been placed as of now. The placement and training staff work day and night to get a 100 percent placement result. The average salary package in our college varies from department to department. In our department, 4 LPA is the average package.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is currently being developed. After the establishment of Sodambika Group of Institutions, they are building a lot of new blocks, and I chose the civil department.

Faculty: Faculty in our college are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is average and the doctoral faculty members are very good. The course curriculum is relevant and it is very easy to pass government exams like RRB, TNPSC, and TNMWAS. The standard of education is good. Our department faculty are very friendly and helpful. In our final year project, they supported us a lot and helped us.

Placements: More than 6,0000 students get placed in our college in our courses. The highest package offered is 15 LPA. The lowest package offered ranges from 5-8 LPA. The average package offered is 4.5LPA. Top recruiting companies of our courses are Tata Projects, Afcons Infrastructure, Adani Groups, etc. Students get internships from our college with a stipend of 1 lakh per month in companies like Tata, GMR Groups, etc. Roles like a slight engineer, a design engineer, a structural engineer, a project engineer, a junior engineer, a quantity surveyor, etc., are offered here.

Infrastructure: The college has well-equipped classrooms with good ventilation and seating. Laboratories are modern and properly maintained with the necessary equipment. The library has a good collection of books, journals, and digital resources. Smart classrooms with projectors are available for a better learning experience. Wi-Fi facility is provided across the campus for academic use. Workshops and practical labs are available, which help students gain hands-on experience.

Faculty: Staff members are well-experienced in teaching, so we can understand topics easily. They are well-qualified and have good knowledge of subjects. The course curriculum is very useful for learning beyond subjects. It teaches me that we can survive alone by studying. Semester exams are not difficult, and they are very easy subjects to learn. The pass percentage is 100 percent.

Other: Drawing is one of my favorite hobbies. So I involved my passion in the civil field to improve my technical skills. I need to develop my skills in the design field. Overall, I have a good experience.

TNPSC coaching is provided in the Civil Engineering course. It is the best college in Trichy.

Placements: We are getting training in AutoCAD and STAAD Pro. I got placed in Cadabra company at Trichy with a package of 3 LPA. Many of my friends got placed with a package varying from 2.4-4.8 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our college campus is very big. Since I am a national-level football player, I have a coach to get training. They give more importance to sports activities, and students who are in the sports quota will benefit. In case of an emergency, there is a medical room, and the college of nursing is also present here.

Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified with doctorates. They are knowledgeable. The English-speaking skills of all professors are good. The teaching mode is bilingual. The course curriculum is developed with the help of industry experts, so we are industry-ready.

Other: I chose the Civil Engineering course to get a government job. It also offers a basic refresher class to get a government job.

Good place to study Civil Engineering in Trichy.

Placements: In our college, placement is very good, and I got placed in Sun Engineering Designing company as a Graduate Engineer Trainee for a package of 4 LPA. In our batch, many students got placed in various corporate companies with starting packages from 3 LPA to 4.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: After the takeover of Sowdambika group, infrastructure was very good, and the lab setup was very high. All the labs are air-conditioned, and we have many licensed software programs, which are very useful from an industry point of view. All the food items on our campus are very cheap and tasty.

Faculty: All the faculty members are easily approachable, and they will clear doubts then and there. The syllabus is easy, and the question paper will be of good standard. Since we are Anna University affiliated, paper correction will be of quality. The pass percentage in our batch is 90%.
