  • National Exit Test (NExT) is a combined single-window exam for MBBS students to qualify for admission into postgraduate courses as well as to obtain the license to practice medicine in India. The exam is to be held in two steps to check theoretical and practical knowledge of candidates. Once implemented, NExT will replace multiple exams including NEET PG and FMGE.

Review of Jalpaiguri Government Medical College.
Placements: Almost all students got placed in government hospitals. Our college provides government job opportunities. They will get a salary according to their post. After completing MBBS, students can join as medical officers in hospitals. Some students join the army as lieutenants. Some students go for MD.
Infrastructure: It is a new medical college. It doesn't have a large academic building. Classrooms are well-equipped. Laboratories are good compared to other colleges. Wi-Fi facility is available in our classroom. The library is decent. The library has all types of books. The hostel is good. Our college provides sports facilities.
Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified and well-experienced. The teaching quality is good. Things you will learn in your classes will be applicable in the future. The course curriculum is hard. Exams are difficult. Many students pass exams.
