For admission to the BA programme at the Jindal School of Journalism and Communication, the following entrance exam scores are accepted:

JSAT (Jindal Scholastic Aptitude Test):A score of 55% or equivalent (SAT, ACT, LSAT-India) is required. The JSAT is an online entrance exam administered by OP Jindal Global University (JGU) for admission to its undergraduate programs.

SAT, ACT or LSAT-India: These standardized tests are also accepted for admission to the BA program.

To be eligible for the B.A. (Hons.) Journalism and Media Studies at JSJC, applicants must have completed the 10+2 level of schooling or its equivalent in humanities, science, or commerce, with a minimum aggregate score of 60% from CBSE, ISC, State Boards, IB, Cambridge, or other government-recognized boards.

Jindal School of Journalism and Communication offered only three major specialisations lasting for four years. LSAT and Media Studies, Corporate Communication and Public Affairs, and LSAT and New Media. The total intake of all the courses is 120. JSJC BA admission mainly has three rounds. First candidates are assessed based on personal statement, the application process, and finally a valid score in any national/ state-level entrance exam or Jindal Scholastic.
