You will have a good party life but placements will happen because of good network.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. The course structure of Journalism school is highly focused on writing. Most of the subject is writing apart from the TV and radio courses. Those are the most difficult subject as well. Teaching quality is not that great because although most professors have their fancy degrees but many of them don't know how to teach.

Great college but dull student crowd.

Faculty: The best apart of the college (apart from the library) are the professors. They're very friendly and ready to help. You will enjoy the class of you pay a little attention and all of them (the ones who've taught me) are well experienced. However, like every college you'll find some professors who might come off as cocky or not-so-helpful but most of them are well read, highly experienced and great teachers. If you actually want to learn, you will know that professors are amazing. I personally lov...

Our college has amazing infrastructure and facilities, along with a completely experiential course.

Faculty: Our faculty members are highly qualified, and most of them are still working as professionals, thereby we get to hear stories of on-ground experiences. The kind of approach included in our course is based on practical knowledge and applicability rather than academic or theoretical. Our course is highly practical and experiential, so it prepares the students and makes them industry-ready. The course curriculum is not fixed as changes according to the change in requirements in the various fields o...

The college has very good infrastructure and facilities.

Faculty: JSJC has faculty members who have a very excellent background. All professors are from IVY League Universities, or they are a big name in the media industry. Famous journalists teach us like Harshtosh Singh Bal, Kishlayeee Bhattacharjee, Saba Naqvi, Kajori Sen, Radhika Bordia, etc. Other professors like Ishan Mukherjee have completed their doctorate from Cambridge University. Professors also give assignments but never encourage the concept of rote learning. They help students to understand the c...
