Very good campus life, ragging free campus, and lot of exposure apart from books.
Placements: From the 6th semester, students were eligible for the placement drives but for my batch the companies began to come in our final year. Companies such as Hexaware, Vivnovation, Argusoft, Surya Technologies, and so on. These were the companies come so far. The packages were between 4 LPA to 7 LPA. According to the college record, 97% of students got placed. If I didn't get placed, I would plan to do the master's.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was very good as it was a central government institute. For books, we had a central library and book bank also. Classrooms were well-equipped with advanced technology. Indoor stadium, basketball, futsal, cricket, etc., were there.
Faculty: The student and faculty relationships were quite good in our department. Students could ask their doubts and queries without any hesitation. I like most of the faculty members in my department because they really support us to attend any technical symposiums, like signing the dues, and they support us to our HOD to allow us to attend any competitions. If the student fails to clear any paper in semester examination, the faculty members will encourage us to put re-evaluation and will support us to clear it in the next semester.
Other: Spandan the annual fest of JIPMER was held every year. It was a one week fest. Many different clubs were there which organised events at regular intervals.

I am absolutely satisfied with the faculty members and placements.
Placements: Around 80-90% of students are placed in this course. The average salary after M.S surgery course often range between Rs. 60,000 and Rs. 1.2 lakhs per month. Roles after MS general surgery include subspecialty training, academic and teaching roles, clinical practice, and many others.
Infrastructure: It has well-developed infrastructure and facilities that support medical education, research, and patient care. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library are available. We also have a central library, which is large and we also have a modern library with thousands of medical books and journals. Quality of food is good, and the mess and canteen are too well. Food is made with hygiene and is healthy.
Faculty: The department is well staffed and organised into multiple units and is divided into 5-6 surgical units each led by a professors or additional professor. The MS program at JIPMER follows the national commission NMC guidelines but also has institute specific enhancement. Exams are conducted by JIPMER Deemed University with internal and external examiners.

About exceptional optometry course w/practical, camps, and placements.
Placements: Above 40% of students scored in NEET, and 50% above plus two is the highest placement. More practical and theory packages are offered in this course. American Council of Optometry and Indian Council of Optometry are top recruiting companies for this course. More than 80% of students will get internships in most health care companies in India. Preliminary examinations of eye, funds examinations, and eye camps are offered in this course.
Infrastructure: Our college has Wi-Fi, practical labs, projector based classrooms, seminar rooms, and library facilities (24X7). Single rooms and shared rooms are available in hostels. Mess food is available from different messes with variety of dishes. Medical facilities for students are more concerned. Sports and other activities are more practiced on campus.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and very knowledgeable. They provide very good teaching sessions. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. Exams are conducted yearly with 3 internals and one sendup (model). The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: Basically, I like this course because it provides almost knowledge about eye. The best things about this course are having the practical sessions and camps, and mostly direct interactions with patients. All things are improved in this course. On our campus, Spandan is the main event, and they conduct fests and also marathons and walkathons. They provide scholarships and encourage engagement in extra-curricular activities.

Absolutely the best college for medical education be it any course MBBS or paramedical courses.
Placements: Here studies are very nice, both academically and clinical=wise, So when you pass from here, you will learn many clinical skills with which can go and practice in a much better way. Studies are good so people many times clear competitive exams like NEET PG and INI CET with internships.
Infrastructure: There is a hostel complex, library, hospital, academic complex, and everything is nice with good maintenance. There is 24/7 Wi-Fi and all other necessities. In the hostel, cleanliness is maintained well. It has facilities like water and 24/7 electricity.
