Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has varying fee structures based on the course and student category. Here are the fees for some courses:

• MBBS: Rs.14,920 for the first year for all students.
• MPH: Rs.8,760 for the first year for all students.
• B.Sc: Rs.11,410 for the first year for all students.
• PG Courses: Fees for MD, MS, MDS, and Diploma courses differ by course and student category. MD and MS courses are approximately Rs.1,500 per year for all students.

A candidate must possess MBBS degree for MD/MS/DM-6yrs/MCH-6yrs and BDS degree for MDS courses of a University recognised by the National Medical Commission/Medical Council of India as notified by Govt. of India and Dental Council of India respectively and must have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training in certain period of time. They must have scored the minimum marks in MBBS/BDS or equivalent examination. Minimum marks for candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories is 50% while for all other categories including OBC/EWS Category, the minimum mark is 55% in aggregate.
