B.Tech. in Food Technology - Batch of 2023
3.0
Satisfied because of the faculty, not a bad placement in 2022.
Placements: 10% of students were placed in our course last year. The highest package is 3 LPA, the lowest package is 2.5 LPA and the average package offered for our course is 2.3-2.4 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are DAIRY AND FOOD PROCESSING INDUSTRIES such as Jersy, Balaji dairy etc. 90% of students got internship from our course in dairy and RTE industries. Product manager is the top role offered in our course.
Infrastructure: It's a new branch, there are a lot of problems in facilities regarding labs except the labs, there are all other facilities are available. Wi-Fi, classrooms, library etc. with good infrastructures are there. The hostel facilities are good but the food provided in hostel is not good. Canteen and medical facilities and sports and games are available with limited sources are there.
Faculty: Teachers are very much interactive with students when compared to other courses in our college and help students with their knowledge. The teaching quality was also good. This course curriculum is relevant and with the help of this course, we can make us industry ready. It is not at all a difficult task to complete the semester exams in college. The pass percentage of our course is above 80%.

B.Tech. in Food Technology - Batch of 2023

I am dissatisfied with the infrastructure.
Placements: We don't have placements here for food technology, and they have started placements this year. This year, many students were placed in some of the top companies, with an average package of 4.5 LPA and the highest packages of 10 LPA in Byjus.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi. Labs are setting now. There is no proper library. Classrooms are good. The building is attractive, and the infrastructure is good.
Faculty: Nice faculty interact with all the students in the class. Claars all doubts. They prepare more than us to teach. The curriculum changes to every batch the regulations are changing day by day according to the present situations. But for enjoying purpose is village won't s with anyone.
Other: I chose this course because it is a new branch and has many opportunities in the future, as we all need food and no one can survive without it. I don't recommend this college to anyone because there is nothing here.

B.Tech. in Food Technology - Batch of 2022
4.2
Overall, our college is good, and the climate is also very peaceful. There is no ragging.
Placements: We are the first batch in food technology course here, so placements are not started for this course. However, about 70% of the students got internships from food technology course. Companies like Heritage in Chittoor, Jain in outskirts of Chittoor, CPF, etc., offer internships here.
Infrastructure: Very good facilities and good infrastructure are available for our course or department. In the library, all facilities are provided like newspapers and a new version of books, and maintenance and everything is good. A digital library is also available. The hostel is very nice, and it is a newly constructed building. Medical facilities are also provided, but the food facilities are very bad. There are no canteens in our college.
Faculty: The teaching quality is average here. Our faculty members are freshers in the teaching field, so there are no experienced faculty members. However, teachers are helpful to us, and HOD sirs are more supportive of us. They encourage every student and guide on how to gain knowledge in the subject. This course curriculum is relevant.
Other: This course is suggested by my brother, and also it is different from other branches. Moreover, this course is more useful to upcoming generations. Nowadays we know that food is getting spoiled by adding many chemicals for taste and attractive purpose. This course is helpful to avoid adulterations in food items. So, I have chosen this course.

Labs for our course are not well-equipped.
Placements: Placements are still not offered because we are the first batch to leave the campus. We have many options for our course, and we can fit in any section in the industry like research, quality, production, etc.
Infrastructure: The mess is average. Infrastructure and facilities are good, but we have to adjust in some cases. Sports and games are not bad. Wi-Fi is available with good bandwidth. The library has books, and we have a digital library. Medical facilities are somewhat a problem.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-educated and highly qualified, and their teaching techniques are simple and easily understandable by the students. They are friendly with students and always supporting students. I think the curriculum has to improve according to the present inventions.

Our college campus is good. Some teachers are bad, but placements are good for other branches.
Placements: In our college, we are the first batch in the food technology department. There is no pass-out batch in our department, and because of that, there are no placements in our college. In Chittoor, we went to CPO, Heritage and Gall companies, and we also went for internships. Food technologist is the top role offered here.
Infrastructure: In our college, facilities and infrastructure are high technology equipment in labs. The library has many books related to our branch. In our hostel, the rooms are good, but the quality of food was bad. Medical facilities and sports are available in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful for some students only in our branch. There are only M.Tech based teachers, and teaching quality is not bad. The curriculum is relevant and good in our college, and it is in a meaningful manner. Students are industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because I want to do differently compared to other branches. This branch gives many jobs in many industries. I wish the college to change facilities. Fests are not conducted in our college.

It is a good college for average students. There are average teachers and placements.
Placements: My branch is food technology. Our batch is the first in this course, so none of the batches passed out. However, we are expecting good jobs in food industries and also government jobs, and we are expecting a salary package of 6 LPA. We did internships in some industries like CPF (in Chittoor), Galla (in Chittoor) and Heritage (Pakala).
Infrastructure: There is a good infrastructure in our college, and Wi-Fi facility is available in the hostel. There is also a digital library. The food served in the mess is average and not good in taste. A dispensary is available in the hostel, but doctors are available only in specific times. Our college conducts sports and games on a college day.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful, but they are not highly qualified. Their teaching quality is average, but they put maximum efforts to teach us. The course curriculum is very useful for food industries. We gain more knowledge by this course curriculum.
Other: Our batch is good. I have chosen this course because there are less competition and high scope in future for food technology and processing. Once every two years, every branch conducts events individually, but our branch did not conduct yet.

I'm not satisfied because of teachers, but the college fee is reasonable with good infrastructure.
Placements: No batch is passed out from our course because our course has started form 2018, and the first batch will be passed out in 2022. we are expecting good jobs in companies like food industries, labs, etc. We have experienced internships in CPF Chittor, Heritage and Galla Food Industry.
Infrastructure: Labs in our branch are good, and our college is building new labs for us because this course has started from our batch. There is no Wi-Fi in college for students, but there is a digital library for students in our college. Hostel food is average, not hygienic and no tasty. Sickroom is available in our hostel and daily evening doctor visit here.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful for us, but they are not highly qualified for our course. Teaching quality is average and not more than what we are expecting. The course curriculum is very good and has updated syllabus according to industries development and very helpful in industries.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is new, and in future, good emerging jobs are available. Our college yearly conducts sports day. For our branch, no fest is arranged until now.

I am absolutely satisfied with our college because of food technology course offered by it.
Placements: My course is completely new and started in our college just two years back. In our batch, only 50% of admissions were filled due to the lack of awareness about our course, i.e., food technology as it is a rarely available course in the state. So, if we pursue this course, we will have a better future as it provides jobs like food inspector, food technologist, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure as it is a newly established college. There is no canteen in our college, but the food served in the hostel is good. For medical support, there is a good clinic, and I am not satisfied with sports and games.
Faculty: Some senior faculty members here are very good at explaining things and helping students and are knowledgeable. But some faculty members are not qualified, and they are not much worth to teach. Apart from teachers help, if we work hard, we can gain good knowledge from this college.
Other: The best and the main reason for me to opt for this college is my course is very rarely available in the state. So, in this course, we can get better opportunities than other courses for jobs.
