Good results with no teacher.
Placements: JNTUK can have around 80-90 percent of its students placed in top courses. The highest package is 35 LPA, the average package is around 5 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Top companies recruiting students from JNTUK are TCS, Infosys, and Amazon. Around 10 percent of students secured internships at Infosys, Zoho, and Amazon. Robotics plays a major role primarily for developers and analysts.
Infrastructure: JNTUK has good academic infrastructure (labs, library, Wi-Fi) and good facilities. Hostel facilities are available, but the quality of each is ok. Mess food and medical facilities are available on the campus. There are large sports fields and equipment for various sports on campus.
Faculty: JNTUK faculty is very helpful, and they treat everyone with respect. This helps students move forward in their lives. Curriculum is relevant, but companies are looking for something else, this causes confusion among students, and there should be someone to work on this topic.
Other: The college is good, but the facilities are lacking, such as water and other resources like bookshops inside.

Completely dissatisfied with my college.
Placements: Completely dissatisfied by placements. There are no placements offered by this college. All the placements they posted in college are own achievements, not because of college and faculty. The placements for CSE are too bad. There are no in-campus placements available.
Infrastructure: College hostel is too bad, without any maintenance and cleanliness. Bathrooms and mess are not good. I am living in PG near the college GATE. Even the campus CSE department infrastructure is not as expected. Bad washrooms and small classrooms. Some juniors don’t have their own classroom.
Faculty: The pass percentage is very low. There are many non-core subjects which are not useful to you, but still they exist, and strict paper correction. My course doesn’t make students industry ready. There is a huge difference between what they teach us and what we do there. Syllabus will be rushed when you reach the end of semester.
Other: I would feel better if they improved computers.

Absolutely dissatisfied with my college.
Placements: Completely dissatisfied with placements. There are no placements offered by this college. All the placements they got in college are their own achievements, not because of the college and faculty. The placements for CSE are too bad. No one is there to guide you.
Infrastructure: The college hostel is too bad, without any maintenance or cleanliness. Bathrooms and mess are not good. I am living in a PG near the college GATE. Even the campus CSE department infrastructure is not as expected. We have snakes roaming on our campus. Bad washrooms even in the department.
Faculty: The pass percentage is very low. Exams are moderate. Some subjects have a completely zero connection with your branch. These subjects have zero connection with your branch. These exams are only for GPA, they are not used outside. It doesn't make the students industry-ready. Teachers rush the subject when exams are nearing.
Other: There are no events in our college. We barely get permission for the outing.

Excellent learning environment with great placements, well-equipped campus, and supportive faculty.
Placements: I am from the 2022 batch of B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. About 85 percent of students in our course are placed during campus placements.
Infrastructure: Our department has excellent infrastructure and facilities to support academic and practical learning. All classrooms are equipped with smart boards, projectors, and Wi-Fi connectivity to enhance interactive sessions. Computer labs are well-maintained and updated with the latest configurations and licensed software required for programming, web development, and data analysis. The department library provides access to a wide range of reference books, journals, and digital resources, helping students with research and project work.
Faculty: My course has a well-structured curriculum with experienced and highly supportive faculty, a strong focus on practical learning, regular workshops, hackathons, and seminars to stay updated with current technologies, and encourages innovation through projects, internships, and technical clubs that enhance both technical and teamwork skills, while covering both theoretical concepts and real-world applications in emerging technologies.
Other: I chose this course because of my strong interest in technology, programming, and problem-solving. I wanted to understand how software and digital systems work and to build a career in the fast-growing IT industry.

Q:   Which has better placement at University College of Engineering, Kakinada, B.Tech CSE or B.Tech ECE?
A:

Few product-based and core-sector organizations visit JNTUK to recruit students; consequently, relatively few people are placed.

The majority of those in the jntuk will be visited and recruited by service-based IT enterprises. But they will interview and hire candidates regardless of the technical field. However, everything relies on the students that showed up for the placement. Most likely, the top 5 branches have 20 to 35 individuals.

Computer Science engineering would come up when discussing IT employment.

The total number of placements in each field, including core employment and IT, varies from year to year. 2017 saw a respectable amount of placements for CSE, Civil, and ECE.
