For example, candidates have to appear for an entrance test for admission to the M.Sc. program. UG (MBBS) and PG (MD, MS, and Diploma) admission in JSS Medical College will be conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) through common counseling. COMEDK is a state-level medical entrance examination but is open for all India candidates.

MBBS is the most popular course offered by the JSS Medical college. The duration of the MBBS course is 4 ½ years followed by compulsory rotating internship training of one year. Students who want to take admission for MBBS course need to give NEET UG  Exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) followed by MCC councelling or KEA counselling for Karnataka state quota. Yes, there is BSc in Radiology at JSS Medical College. Radiology or Medical Imaging Technology is an udergraduate degree that provide students with the knowledge of medical imaging technology. The course teaches students how to use imaging equipment like X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds to diagnose and treat diseases. The course last for three years and six semesters which includes subjects such as Basic Physics of Radiography, Radiographic Film & image processing Techniques, Radiography of Chest, abdomen, pelvis & skull, spine & Extremities, Mammography, Fluoroscopy and mobile radiography, Contrast media: reactions & management & special radiography procedures, Physics of ultrasound & CT, Radiobiology, etc.
