It has really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Around 88% of students got placed in EEE. The highest package is 16 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA. Top recruiters included L&T, Siemens, ABB, and Tata Power. Nearly 80% of students got internships at NTPC, BHEL, and GE. Roles offered are design engineer, system engineer, and analyst.

Infrastructure: EEE has state-of-the-art labs, interactive classrooms, and seamless Wi-Fi access. The library is well-resourced. Hostels are spacious and secure. Food in the mess is okay with a decent variety. Medical help is available. Sports infrastructure is well-maintained and engaging.

Faculty: Faculty members in EEE are genuinely supportive. They often go beyond class hours to clear doubts. Their blend of academic and industry insight adds real value. The course curriculum balances core concepts with evolving teaching trends, though more industry-like projects and certification would be a great addition. Other: EEE drew me in because it sits at the crossroads of innovation, power, electronics, and automation all in one. The course trains us to think both logically and creatively. Perk labs curiosity, and faculty members push us to ask deeper questions. I'd love to see more startup exposure and interdisciplinary projects added. Electric fests are massive, clubs are passionate. Every corner has something happening. It is surrounded by nature but digitally connected, with a mix of cultures. For scholarships and sports, it is a great place to grow both technically and personally.

Placements: About 85% of students got placed. Top recruiting companies were Robert Bosch, L&T, Toshiba, TVS Electronics, ZOHO. Around 70-75% of students got internship offers from Conserve Solutions and Sun Technology. The highest package was 12 LPA, and the lowest was 2 LPA. Average salary was 4.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure here at Kalaignar Karunanidhi Institute of Technology - KIT is quite good. Well-equipped labs, SMART classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi and a rich digital library support our research and academic work. The hostel facilities are decent, with clean rooms, and the mess and canteen food is good, with good hygiene and variety.

Faculty: The faculty at Kalaignar Karunanidhi Institute of Technology are well-qualified and very helpful. They also use very effective, interactive teaching methods, and their curriculum is always up-to-date and industry-relevant. Another nice perk of this college is the faculty's willingness to focus on core concepts and practical skills. Plus, the semester exams are manageable when we make time for regular study. The faculty also provides regular reviews and even offers special coaching sessions before the exams.

Other: I chose the Electrical and Electronics Engineering course due to my strong interest in electrical systems and circuits. It features well-equipped labs and experienced faculty members for hands-on learning and academic support. The faculty members are very friendly and motivating when it comes to asking doubts and questions.

Excellent in all terms of academics and others.

Placements: Placements and internships are available here. With the support of this college, about 80% of the seniors were placed successfully. Most of them were placed in core-based companies like TAMCOE, Chennai. The top roles offered were digital marketing manager with 12 LPA and core with 5 LPA. We were also provided with additional training to support our placements.

Infrastructure: Our department is separately provided with power systems, electronic instrumentation and a machine laboratory, each of which are NBA accredited. Each lab contains advanced components for students’ betterment. Classrooms can be occupied by 70 students and provided with a SMART board. The department library is stocked with updated books. The girls' hostel is well maintained with regular learning. The sick room is arranged for students who are ill. Food is provided exactly at the timing with hygiene.

Faculty: Our department includes experienced faculty members with both theoretical and practical knowledge. They guide us practically in doing projects, thus making us ready for the industry. The curriculum is well-structured from the fundamentals. Semester exams are easy to crack in this college, with a minimum of 75% required for passing.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in electronics. The ratio of practical classes to theory could be higher. Events are organised periodically, and the campus has tie-ups with many companies. Extracurricular activities include weekly club hour, German class, and the Toastmasters club.

Infrastructure is simple and good.

Placements: The highest package offered in our department is 14 LPA (excluding campus recruitment training), and many of our students have gone on internships during their semester breaks. Our senior students were mainly placed in CRT, and several core companies came to our college for events and hands-on training. Our department is also NBA-accredited, which is important to consider when choosing a college.

Infrastructure: Our campus is neat and simple, with all necessary facilities within reach. Three blocks make up the campus, namely East Block, West Block, and Centre Block. Every block has a library and free Wi-Fi.

Faculty: The faculty members are well-trained, and most of them have PhDs. The faculty also uses modern teaching methods, and the syllabus is structured to teach the core subject matter and things we will need in our industry. The semesters are fairly easy. Students can clear them when they study and do the internals.

Other: On Saturday, we will be having a flash mob, which is a sort of relaxing and chilling activity. Every course has great pros and fewer cons. But I prefer to choose ECE because of the faculty members.

KIT has been positive with supportive faculty, good infrastructure and placement .

Placements: KIT has a very active placement cell and campus recruiting program. The placements offered are from the big companies, like Bosch and TCS, in many engineering disciplines. They even have training programs to prepare students in both technical and soft skills. Companies start recruiting even in the second year.

Infrastructure: The campus has good infrastructure and the environment is peaceful and conducive for learning. The hostel facilities are decent, providing basic amenities we need, though we feel some improvements in food and maintenance would make living there more comfortable.

Faculty: The faculty at KIT is not only very friendly and approachable but also strives to teach even the most complex concepts in an easy-to-understand way. They are always there to help, and they guide us well during projects and internships, which is immensely helpful for my overall understanding.

Other: They encourage us to participate in technical events, workshops, and cultural activities. The college has several clubs and societies that promote innovation and creativity, making campus life more vibrant and enjoyable.
