It is absolutely a great college for the biotechnology course.

Placements: A maximum of 95 students got placement from this college. The maximum package is 5 LPA and the minimum package is 2 LPA, which is offered to the passout students from our college. Research analyst and lab assistant roles are offered to students after completing this course. Many students do internships.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very well-maintained. Our laboratories are so big and well-maintained. Wi-Fi is available on our campus. Our college mess is so well maintained and the canteen is so good.

Faculty: Our teachers are so helpful. They always help students. They always stand beside students in every situation. Teachers are so well educated. They got their degrees from the outer countries of India. Semester exams are easy but not so easy. The best quality of faculty members is available in this college.

Other: I chose this course for great research life and inventing the future technology in the technological field. To know everything properly I chose this course.

Good infrastructure and satisfied with my course.

Placements: There are internship opportunities available after second year. Many students from this college have secured places in institutes like IISC Bangalore, IITs, etc. for higher studies. Most students prefer to pursue higher studies like M.Sc., MCA, MBA, Ph.D. etc. Many of them prepare for competitive exams like JAM, GATE, UPSC, etc. Our college has collaboration with Price Trade.

Infrastructure: There are many labs available. The classrooms are well maintained and there are projectors available for teaching. There is a central library that allows students to access books, magazines, or journals and computers for educational purpose. The food in the canteen is not up to the mark.

Faculty: The teaching quality is quite good. The professors are really helpful, qualified and knowledgeable in our course. The course is rather tough but a good one. Proper guidance is provided for future planning including higher studies, better job opportunities, etc. No hostel facilities are available.

Other: The campus surroundings are quite good. Seminars are conducted at times. There are no lab assistants in our course which is a bit problematic.

Average infrastructure and facilities, it can be improved.

Placements: In our course, there are no placements. Maximum students in our batch or seniors go for further higher studies like M.Sc. or integrated Ph.D. in prestigious universities. Very few people went for jobs and they mostly got it from off-campus. Some students also prepare for government exams.

Infrastructure: There are labs and machines for our experiments. So, the infrastructure is good. There are normal lab classrooms and a central lab also where we have expensive machines for the experiments. Sports, games, and extracurricular events are also good. The food is not bad but not also good.

Faculty: Our faculty members are good. They are helpful and they are very qualified. The teaching quality is good but it can also be modified. It is relevant but our course is more in research based rather than industry. Semester exams are moderate. Some papers are difficult. The pass percentage is above 95%.

Other: The best thing about this course is you have an depth knowledge of Biology. The exposure of the industry side can be improved.

Our college is good enough.

Placements: Our college does not provide placements. Usually, government colleges don't provide good placements. Our college has collaboration with Rice Trader. They gave some placements like banking sector or government jobs.

Infrastructure: Our college is good. The hostel facility is not available in our college.

Faculty: Faculty members are excellent. Our department has 5 faculty members including teaching and non-teaching staff members. Their behavior towards students is good. Our HOD is good in both teaching and practical perspective.

Other: Our HOD and other teachers are good with students.

One of the finest colleges in West Bengal to learn, grow and develop.

Placements: While Kalyani Mahavidyalaya don't offer any placements, it does provide students with a number of opportunities and enlighten their vision towards choosing bright career path. Frequent excursions, Industry visits, Workshops, Seminars are being arranged for the students throughout their course. Besides that quality education, proximity with excellent faculty members motivate students in their academic journey. Many of the pass-out students qualify a number of National level entrance such as GATE CAT JAM, GAT B TIFR and have pursued MBA, M.Sc. MS-PhD in reputed institutions such as IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, BHU, JNU etc. While others pursued a career in the industry.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is decent. The laboratories are air conditioned and are well-equipped with necessary instruments to conduct practical classes. The lecture hall is equipped with speakers, giants screens/monitor alongside all the necessary facilities required to conduct a seminar. The classrooms and the library is also very well maintained. All of these facilities have been kept under CCTV surveillance. Wi-Fi can be accessed if needed. Hostel facility isn't provided yet in the college. The food is above average in the canteen. The food court is clean and the food is worth the money. The prices are slightly higher.

Faculty: The teachers are excellent in their field, qualified and knowledgeable and most of all are greatly helpful especially when the students are in need. The students have a friendly relationship with the faculty members. They take great care to teach the students in both the theory class and practical. The only thing that needs to improve is the number of theory classes so that students can sharpen their base in each subject. The course curriculum is extremely relevant and it does prepare the students well for industry. The difficult of the semesters are moderate to hard. The pass percentage is almost 97-98%.. .

Other: Besides the career scope this subject has to offer, I chose to study B.Sc. Biotechnology in Kalyani Mahavidyalaya for the sheer interest and thrill of learning the fundamentals of this subjects, particularly the aspects of Recombinant DNA Technology which I was very much interested in learning. Besides that Kalyani Mahavidyalaya already had a good reputation as a college in West Bengal. Scholarship is indeed provided to the economical backward candidates. The campus is neat and clean. It includes a very well maintained garden and sports ground. Events such as Freshers programme and Teachers day are also being arranged.
