Steps for KVCET Admission Process 2025
KVCET carries out its admission process in two categories: Single Window System and Management Quota. Aspirants must fulfil the criteria for each to get admission under on of the categories. Admissions are currently open for all the offered courses. Below are the steps to get a seat in the college:
Step 1: KVCET Application Process 205
Aspirants need to fill out the TNEA application form after passing Class 12 for BE/ BTech courses. For ME/ MTech and MCA/ MBA courses, aspirants need to apply for any of the accepted entrance exams. Candidates also need to fill out a form on the official website of the college for the preferred course.
Step 2: Selection
KVCET selects candidates for admission based on their merit in the last qualifying exam and TNEA rank for the BE/ BTech programme. The college considers TANCET scores for MBA and MCA courses, whereas CEETA PG scores are required for ME/ MTech programmes. Candidates with MAT, CET or GATE scores can also get admission.
Step 3: Counselling & Seat Allotment
The seats in the BE/ BTech course of KVCET are offered through TNEA Counselling. 65% of seats for UG programmes are allotted through counselling conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education. 35% seats are allotted through the Consortium of Self Financing Engineering Colleges under management quota
Aspirants are offered a seat based on their TNEA rank. Candidates need to participate in TANCET and CEET PG Counselling for MBA/ MCA and ME/ MTech courses, respectively. Once the seat is allotted, aspirants must report at the campus for document verification and also pay the KVCET fee.
