Just a normal review for college.
Placements: Karpagam Institute of Technology (KIT), Coimbatore, maintains a strong placement record across its engineering programs. In recent years, the institute achieved around 88% placements, with some batches reaching nearly 98%. The highest package offered is about 14.5 LPA, while the average stands close to 5 LPA, and the median is 3.5 LPA. Though officially the lowest figures are not published, student reviews indicate offers starting from 2 to 4 LPA. Top recruiters include leading IT and core companies such as Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Teach Mahindra, Microsoft, Amazon, Zoho, Accenture, Oracle, HP, HDFC Bank, and Axis Bank. These firms offer roles.
Infrastructure: Karpagam Institute of Technology (KIT), Coimbatore, provides well structured facilities and infrastructure to support academics and student life. Each department is equipped with modern classrooms, Wi-Fi enabled campus access, and specialized laboratories tailored to the course requirements, such as computer labs, electronics labs, and innovation centers. The central library is well stocked with books, journals, e resources, and digital access, ensuring students have ample study material. Smart classrooms and seminar halls are also available for presentations and workshops. Hostel facilities are designed for comfort, offering spacious rooms, good ventilation, and 24/7 Wi-Fi connectivity. The mess and canteen provide a variety of food.
Faculty: Karpagam Institute of Technology (KIT) teachers are generally considered helpful, approachable, and well qualified, with many holding advanced degrees and industry experience, which reflects in their teaching quality. The teaching methods involve not only traditional lectures but also practical exposure through labs, workshops, projects, and industry interactions, making the learning process engaging and application-oriented. The course curriculum is updated periodically in line with Anna University guidelines and supplemented with additional training programs, value added courses, and certification to bridge the gap between academics and industry requirements. This helps students gain skills relevant to current technologies.
Other: I chose my course for interest in technology and career growth; best parts are practical labs & placements, but more industry ties are needed, campus is vibrant with fests, sports, scholarships & good connectivity.

The best college for real-time skill knowledge.
Placements: The lowest package is 3 LPA, and the highest is 40 LPA. It's best for students' future.
Infrastructure: We have more labs where the students can learn about particular things. We have a digital lab for ECE and EEE for real-time learning of technology. The infrastructure is great, and pleasant to enjoy nature while studying. It has a food court where the food is at an affordable price.
Faculty: There are the best teachers to interact with and problem-solving skills. The best thing is that it the important to show their talent according to their knowledge. The staff are qualified and the best solvers of our doubts. They are gentle, calm, and explain their answers to the students. All teachers have completed their M.E and Ph.D., are well-trained, and are the best staff in this college. They are talented and at the same time friendly with the students.
Other: It is a nice college with such a wonderful environment to study. I chose this course because I have an interest in technical and communication technology. They have a variety of labs where I can obtain knowledge.

The good, the bad, and in between at KIT.
Placements: In our college, each year 90% of the students get placed. The highest package offered is 30 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Zoho, Wipro, TCS, UST, and CTS. Top roles offered are web designer and web developer. Internship opportunities as equal to placement opportunities on our campus.
Infrastructure: We have common Wi-Fi for all the students in our college for both hostel and college campus. The library has all the books regarding engineering and our course subjects. The quality of food in hostel is a bit bad. Our college canteen is quite good. As for sports, we have a physical education department that takes responsibility for both gym and training the students.
Faculty: Faculty members here are a bit strict but as days passed they became friendly with us. Their teaching and training skills are, to be honest top-notch. Our course curriculum is relevant and it improves our core skills. Semester exams in our college are a bit challenging and the pass percentage is 75%.
Other: I chose this course as I was interested in learning about emerging technologies. The best thing about taking this course in this college is we have several workshops and seminars by experts in addition to our subjects, which makes it easy for us to master IT. The thing I wish they could improve is more interaction between the faculty members and the students. In our college, a lot of events are conducted on a yearly basis. One of our campus' biggest cultural fest is Varnam. Our college pride is Rivals, which is a national-level event.

Totally dissatisfied with college life. Only placements are good here.
Placements: 60% of students got placed in my course. Zoho is the top recruiting company in my college. Web development is the top role offered in my college. The highest is 15 LPA. The lowest is 4 LPA. The average is 2.04 LPA in my college. 60% of students got internships from our course at Accenture, ZPE ATM, etc.
Infrastructure: My college provides 2GB per day data. But it's not sufficient for us. But they do not provide more for us. In labs, a lot of instruments are not working in my college. Classrooms have good infrastucture with 4 fans. My mess food is very poor but charges are very high. I am disappointed with the mess and canteen food. In sports, they do not encourage.
Faculty: They give important questions for exams. They are qualified for the job. Exams are moderate. Maximum, we follow the syllabus-wise questions. The course curriculum is irrelevant to the industry. It is not used for students' future. I give one advice to students don't join my college hostel. They act as a king and we are their slaves.
Other: Only one-time events are conducted in my college. They collect Rs. 500 per head for the function. It is the worst case scenario.

Good placement, guidance, and infrastructure.
Placements: There are good placements and trainers; they help you most and there was very friendly staff but training may go after the time of college so it is possible. They force you to do work after college; it will help you improve in future. That's all about placements.
Infrastructure: Good college infrastructure. But hostel food is not; they have labs and class room facilities that are very good. In hostel, there is good infrastructure, but strict manner make it better to take outside hostel or paid guest rooms. There are lot of options available outside of hostels or college.
Faculty: The college focuses mainly on placement. They became autonomous after our batch; they may have gone liberal but they didn't focus that much on curriculum; they focused on you to train and get placed in company and easily get an offer but to get core knowledge like mechanical, it's not suggestable.

Review of Karpagam Institute of Technology.
Placements: The highest package in my batch is 9 LPA, and the minimum package is 3 LPA. Top MNCs like Accenture, EY GDS, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, and Tata came to recruit. Many of the students got placed at Accenture for 4.5 LPA and 6.5 LPA. The one who keeps arrears will not attend placement; so be cautious.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise, it will be average compared to other colleges in Coimbatore. The number of students has increased, but the campus is small so it will be crowded. Hostel foods are average, and there is a food canteen, which is very costly and quantity is less.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are knowledgeable, but some aren't. Teachings will be good but smart classrooms are used rarely. Students will be industrially ready only if the students are interested in taking extra classes with some money and will be given courses externally.
Other: Large crowd but small campus.
