Placements: The placement statistics of this college are growing every day. The training and placement cell of our college works hard to get students placed in good positions. The average salary package offered in the college ranges between 3.6 LPA and 4 LPA. It's growing day by day.

Infrastructure: As it is a state government-funded college, you can clearly understand that the infrastructure of this college is not that great. But there is greenery around the campus and you will get a clean environment. As there are no restrictions, you will enjoy this college life to its fullest.

Faculty: Mechanical Engineering Department of Kalyani Government Engineering College has the oldest and best faculty members of all time. Teachers are very helpful. They make sure that students understand every concept properly. The faculty team is very supportive.

It is the best college in West Bengal after Jadavpur University.

Placements: About 70% of the recruiters are IT companies, and 30% of them are core companies. The top core recruiters include Haldia Petrochemical, MN Dastur, Wood, Larsen & Toubro, etc. The placement statistics of the college are improving day by day.

Infrastructure: Even if it is a government college, its infrastructure is quite good. There are many buildings with well-equipped laboratory facilities, proper ventilation, etc. There are many grounds like the Fest Ground, the BCKV Ground, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members in the mechanical engineering department are seniors. They are highly qualified. They teach us in a very good manner.

Our college has good faculty, good infrastructure, and good placements.

Placements: About 60% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package offered in our course was 20 LPA, the lowest was 3.7 LPA, and the average was 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Larsen & Turbo, Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, etc. Around 40% of students got internships from our course at companies like L&T, Hexaware, Cognizant, Amazon, etc. The top role offered in our course is SDE.

Infrastructure: We have good facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, a library, etc. The quality of the facilities available in our hostel is good. Good food was available in our mess and canteen. There are medical facilities. Good sports facilities are available.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. Our course is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that difficult, and the pass percentage is 95%.

This is one of the best colleges of West Bengal.

Placements: Approximately 70-80% of students got placed in our course the previous year. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA, the average salary package offered was 5.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package was about 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters are HPCL, Tata Power, Woods Inc., and L&T. About 50% of students got internships, out of which the majority of students were in the software industry and 20-30% got in core companies.

Infrastructure: Most of the classrooms are digital classrooms, a good collection of books and journals in the library, and strong network connections in the hostel. Sports section is quite well in this college. Authority is very supportive. Hostels are good and staff members of the canteen also maintain a good relationship with students. The food quality is good.

Faculty: In our college, faculty members are high qualified and excellent at teaching. They are helpful and they don't hesitate to help unofficially. During offline exams, there are tough guards. The teachers carefully look after the students in their studies and well-being.

Good college for core as well as non core trades.

Placements: 80% of students were placed. Rs 10 Lacs is the highest package, Rs 3 Lacs the lowest is the lowest package and Rs 4 Lacs average is the average package Amazon, Infosys, Oracle, TCS, Wipro, are the top recruitment companies. More than 50% students get internships in many companies like Pinnacle, Siemens, but it depends upon their skills and knowledge mass recruiter, CA, HR, etc.

Infrastructure: Mechanical shops are big and teachers are helpful. Physics labs are big and many instruments are present. The library is good you can take books from the library and use it for note-making and reading purposes. The average quality of food in the canteen is available. Good medical facilities and sports and games are quite good. There are respective clubs for sports and games.

Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful qualified and knowledgeable. And the teaching way is quite better. They use basically Bengal or Hindi language so that the students who find difficulty in understanding English can easily get it. Yes, the course is curriculum relevant. The pass percentage is 45%.

It has good faculty members and good placements in 2019.

Placements: In KGEC, the placements for mechanical engineering students are poor, as only a few students got placed last year from the mechanical engineering department. The highest package offered was 9 LPA, and the lowest package was 3.2 LPA. The average package was 4 LPA. The main recruiters for the mechanical department are HCL, Hindustan Unilever etc.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is great, but its main building is still under construction. The college has different labs for individual departments, and it also provides free Wi-Fi. The college library is full of books, journals and magazines. Each of the hostels has a mess and canteen. The food is above average and hygienic.

Faculty: All the teachers are PhD holders and have good teaching methods. They help students in every way they can. Their teaching quality is good for me. The course curriculum is slightly outdated and needs improvements. The semester examinations are hard except for some subjects.
