    Students also asked

    Q:   Which courses can I do after a D.Ed.? Should I do a BSc or B.Ed?
    A:

The best choice depends on your career aspirations:

    ·       If you want to become a teacher: Opt for a B.Ed. It's the mandatory qualification for teaching in most schools.

    ·       If you want to pursue a career in research or a science-related field: A BSc would be more suitable. It provides a strong foundation for further studies and specialised careers.

    ·       If you're unsure: Consider your interests and skills. Do you enjoy teaching and interacting with students? Or are you more drawn to scientific exploration and research?

    Additional options:

    ·       M.Ed.: If you already have a B.Ed., you can pursue a Master of Education for career advancement or specialisation in a particular teaching area.

    ·       Diploma courses: Various specialised Diploma courses in education or related fields can enhance your skills and knowledge.

Q:   Can a B.Ed subject and graduation subject be different?
    A:

The B.Ed subjects and graduation subject are separate. Every B.Ed college follows the NCTEs approved syllabus. All universities offer theory papers that cover topics such as educational philosophy, educational psychology, school administration, learning theories, educational thinkers etc., even though the titles and authors of the books may vary. Additionally, methodological papers are required for all B.Ed. courses, and they require you to select one school topic and one language.
According to the regulations, a student must have completed at least two school topics in order to be admitted to a B.Ed program. However a lot of universities ignore these requirements and admit students.
The issue appears when you apply for a government job after finishing the training. (KVS, NVS, and so forth).
