MAH BEd CET 2026: Application last date for MAH BEd 2026 exam has been extended to February 13. The exam dates are out. MAH BEd CET 2026 exam will be conducted between March 27 and March 29, 2026. Students who have not applied for MAH BEd CET yet can apply now at cetcell.mahacet.org.

Purpose of MAH BEd CET 2026

The purpose of MAH BEd CET 2026 is to evaluate the teaching aptitude and readiness of candidates who want to pursue a BEd. program. These courses are offered by various government institutes across the state of Maharashtra which participate in the MAH BEd CET exam. The candidates can apply for BEd in Maharashtra by registering for the MAH BEd CET examination conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell every year. The forms will be available soon in December end.

Q:   What is the qualification for BEd course in Mumbai?
A:

A bachelor's degree (BA, BSc, B.Com, etc.) from a recognised university with a minimum of 50-55% aggregate marks. Some institutions might have some subject requirements.

MAH BEd CET 2026 Eligibility

Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria will be able to do the MAH BEd CET 2026 registration. Candidates having Indian Nationality with a domicile certificate from the State of Maharashtra can apply. Candidates outside of Maharashtra should have a Birth certificate issued by the respective State Government. 

As per the minimum education qualification, candidates must have qualified class 12th or Graduation from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks.  There is no upper age limit to apply or appear for the MAH BEd CET Exam 2026 but the candidates must not be younger than 19 years. The candidates are advised to wait for the 2026 session notification to be released.

MAH BEd CET 2026 Exam Pattern

To qualify for the MAH BEd CET exam, students must go through MAH BEd CET 2026 exam pattern in detail to understand the sections, topics, and marking scheme of the exam. 

  • The questions in the MAH BEd CET 2026 exam are from three sections - General Knowledge, Mental Ability, and Teaching Aptitude.
  • The test will have 100 questions of 1 mark each, totalling 100 marks.
  • The MAH BEd CET 2026 question paper format will be objective.
  • There will be no negative marking in the exam for wrong answers.
  • The language of the questions will be in Marathi and English.
