In KIIT, computer branch students can easily get placements, but for other branches, it is very hard to get a job in core companies.

The college crowd and facilities are good, but hostel food needs to improve. Otherwise, it is good.
Placements: 84 percent of students who sat for placements got placed. The highest package is 58 LPA. The average package is 6.5 LPA. The lowest package is 2.8 LPA. Recruiting companies are Deloitte, Skype, TCS, Accenture, Amazon, Brain and Company, Cisco, Delta X, High Radius, Hike, and many more.
Infrastructure: All classrooms have good Wi-Fi. They are equipped with AC. There is a central library and a library solely for CSE students. Boys can stay all night, but girls can only use the library till 10:00 PM. The average quality of food in the hostel is acceptable. There are 3 non-AC beds and 2 beds with AC.
Faculty: Recent KIIT student reviews describe faculty as well-qualified. They are knowledgeable and generally helpful. Several reviews specifically mention faculty with PhD and strong academic backgrounds. They also mention good domain knowledge. Teaching quality is not uniform across every professor. Some faculty are better at explaining concepts. They are also better at mentoring students than others. KIIT itself reports 3,000 faculty members or researchers. It emphasizes multidisciplinary teaching and research. It also ran a 2026 faculty development programme. It involved IITs, TCS, IBM, PwC, Tata Elxsi, and other external experts.

Good exposure with an amazing campus life.
Placements: Placements are good at KIIT, but I feel they depend a lot on how well you prepare yourself. Having good coding knowledge and maintaining a good GPA definitely helps. There are different placement days like Zeroth Day, First Day, and Second Day, and getting into a good company on Zeroth Day can make a big difference. So, I would say the opportunities are good, but students also have to work on their coding and academics consistently.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of KIIT is honestly one of my favourite things about university. The campus is really beautiful and has amazing infrastructure, and you can actually be a little mesmerised when you first see it. I stay in a premium hostel, so I can mainly speak about that. The premium hostel is really good. Honestly, it feels almost like a hotel room compared to the hostels I have seen in other universities. I don't have much experience with the non-premium hostels, but my experience with the premium one has been amazing.
Faculty: Faculty experience is okay-ish overall. Some faculty members are genuinely amazing and very helpful, while with others, you may have to put in more effort yourself. I feel that in CSE especially, you cannot depend completely on classroom teaching and need to study and practise on your own. The exams are also not extremely difficult if you attend classes and study properly. With consistent preparation, they are quite manageable.
Other: My experience at KIIT has been quite good so far. The best things I like about our university are the campus, infrastructure, and students' exposure. We have a lot of events, clubs, and activities. So campus life is never boring. I also like the fact that students get to meet people from different backgrounds and explore different opportunities. For CSE, I feel students have to be self-dependent and work on their coding and practical skills apart from academics. Faculty experience is mixed, but some professors are genuinely very good. KIIT provides a fun and good learning environment.

Review of KIIT University. I love my college.
Placements: I am seeing all my seniors getting placed into big companies like TCS and others with good packages starting from 3 LPA to 11 LPA-15 LPA. Students with less CGPA are also getting placed. There is also PPO (pre-placement offer) with a good package like companies like High Radius.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very nice. There are hostel, campus, gaming area, sports, and auditorium. Everything has good interiors, lighting, and everything. The campus is full of greenery and everything feels good living in that campus. Also the management for everything is also very nice. The hostel mess food is very bad.
Faculty: Curriculum and exams are nice. Faculty is sometimes good, sometimes not good. There is a language barrier between students and faculty. Faculty speak in English only but their Odia accent is sometimes difficult to understand. The course is good. Everything required is taught there.

Overall my experience has been good till now.
Placements: I am still studying in this college, so I cannot really say much about the placements from my personal experience. Most of the information I know is from the seniors. Placements are okay, but you cannot depend only on the college. You have to work on coding projects and other skills by yourself. I have heard the average package is around 4 LPA-5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is one of the best in this college. The campus is clean and well maintained. Wi-Fi is available in every academic block. The library is also nice, so you can conveniently use it. Hostel rooms are also decent, I would say. Mess food is nothing special, it is like every other hostel mess. Medical facilities are also available as the university includes a hospital too.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are qualified, and they know the concept they are teaching you, but at the end it depends entirely upon which faculty you get. Some are really helpful and interactive, while others stick to the slides. The curriculum covers the basics properly and is interconnected, but coding and skills are entirely up to you if you want to get industry-ready. Semester exams are not tough, just follow the teacher's notes and attend the classes regularly. 40 marks are the passing criteria.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in tech and it has good career opportunities. There are so many tech-related societies, which makes it easier to interact with random people sharing the same interest as you. I feel students can be provided with more practical exposure and interaction with the industry. Scholarships are provided to those who achieve under 1000 rank in KIITEE exam. College Fest is organised every year, though last year it was cancelled.

Good for overall development and education.
Placements: Since B.Tech is a very demanding course in the current market, the college provides good campus placements. In the last year, the placement record was almost 100%, and students who got placed were quite happy with their placements.
Infrastructure: Hostels are very spacious, neat, and clean. Here, you get almost top-notch facilities. The whole KIIT campus is connected with Wi-Fi, and all classes are centrally air-conditioned.
Faculty: Faculty members are very knowledgeable and open to any type of academic doubts. Mentors are provided for every group of 30–40 students. The exams conducted here have a proper system with proper invigilation by faculty members. The curriculum is also designed in such a way that students get enough time for self-study. Faculty members are also well-educated and liberal in terms of marks allotment.
Other: At last, I would like to say that KIIT provides a complete package for the overall development of each and every student.

Summary review of KIIT.
Placements: Almost 80 percent of students of engineering are in CSE. The lowest packages go from 5 LPA to 6 LPA, whereas the highest goes up to 60 LPA and the average is 8 LPA. Companies like TCS, Cisco, and Microsoft generally come. You don't get very high posts, but get a very good position in the company you get recruited into.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is pretty okay. Lab equipment is very good, and classrooms are clean and maintained, and libraries are the best place to read. Many facilities for sports and games are provided too. There is a whole campus dedicated to sports. As for medical, they have their own fully fledged facilities in KIMS, which is their hospital and medical institution.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified from the top colleges and most of them are very helpful. The course almost makes you industry-ready, you have to put extra effort for some extra knowledge to be fully ready. Semester exams may be difficult and may vary from time to time.
