Kirori Mal College : An honest review.
Placements: Placements in our college are good. Students from our college get decent packages in IT, Design, and Finance. They are posted in top MNCs including Deloitte, BCG, Accenture, and more. The average package is around 11.96 LPA, while the median package is 6.5 LPA, and the highest Package sits at 26.8 LPA for the last placement season.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure and campus are extremely poor and small. There is no proper Wi-Fi or even network availability on the campus. The water facility is also very bad. The canteen doesn't have enough space to accommodate students. Campus-wise, it is the smallest in the whole North Campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are decent. They are highly knowledgeable, but they don't know how to support students coming from different backgrounds. They will not tolerate or understand if you have any other commitments to pursue and the curriculum is also super outdated.

Satisfaction with the sports infrastructure, but good faculty.
Placements: I have no idea about the placements, at least in my department. But I have heard about some seniors getting PPOs or offers. The average and median CTC and salary are very low. It does not compare to other North Campus colleges at all. So, I don't come with expectations of placements.
Infrastructure: The sports infrastructure is horrible. With a little rain, there is a mini swimming pool. Plus, the sports grounds are not maintained at all. The auditorium work has been going on for a very long time. It is not even half done. Due to construction work, even the volleyball courts have now become a parking lot.
Faculty: Faculty is good, but there is no proper management. In the first semester, our teacher was pregnant and took pregnancy leave. But no teacher is allotted to us after that. At all. We missed around two and a half months of classes because of it. The worst thing is that she is our practical teacher as well.

Placements: 150 candidates got placed from our college. The highest salary package offered was of 24 LPA from our college. The lowest salary package was of 6 LPA from our college Deloitte and Aleke are the top recruiting companies of our college. 52% of the students got internships from our course. Analyst was the top role offered.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our department is very nice and beautiful. Classrooms are very neat. Canteen food is very delicious with proper care of sanitation and hygiene. Medical facilities of our college are also good and there are many sports and games in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and supportive. Teachers also help students after classes. They help in clearing doubts. Extra questions are even give extra time. This course makes students ready for industry. The course curriculum is relevant.

The college is pretty good despite it's few shortcomings.
Placements: The college offers excellent placements through its student run placement cell. The highest salary package offered was of 24.8 LPA. The college attracts top recruiters across numerous major industries such as Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, Mckinsey, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure requires repair and improvement. Some classes do have ACs, however, most of them only have fans. It gets quite difficult during the monsoon season as they tend to be water puddles. There is a need for a better drainage system. The basketball court is pretty good but the other grounds need better maintenance.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and well qualified. The teaching quality is above average. The course curriculum is relevant as it offers a detailed understanding of the political workings of India alongside an understanding of economics, which supplements it.

I am not satisfied with the infrastructure, but I am happy with the prestige.
Placements: Placements for my course are around 10 LPA. So, I feel it is a good package. The top 3 also have Eco Hons placements around this figure. I have also heard that good companies like Deloitte and PwC recruit students, which gives long-term scope for the students.
Infrastructure: I am not residing in the hostel. However, I have heard that the infrastructure is not really good. The college is also really small. The main building infrastructure is of subpar quality. I have not had a very good experience after coming here. However, I hope it might change with time.
Faculty: I really like faculty, curriculum, and exams. But it is my first semester, so I don't really know much. However, till now, the experience has been really smooth for me. Faculty is very flexible with the students and gives them ample time to complete their work.

I am dissatisfied because of its infrastructure.
Placements: According to records, not many placements were provided for students in my course, B.Sc. Physics (Hons. ). In general, placements in Kirori Mal College are fine. The highest placement package is for the commerce department—courses like B.Com (Hons. ) and Eco (Hons.).
Infrastructure: In the Science block, students have to go through the canteen to reach it. It looks very isolated. Wi-fi doesn't always work, only sometimes it works. Labs don't have proper instruments. The biggest problem is that they don't have clean washrooms in the Arts Block. However, the computer lab in the Science Block is the best part. The arts block is maintained. I like the library as well. The library area itself has 3-4 reading halls and a computer lab. I think all the books you need will be in there.
Faculty: I'm a first-year student, so I haven't had any exams yet. I cannot say much about this. But the teachers are helpful and seem knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. But I don't think it makes the students industry-ready. B.Sc. Physics is generally not a course where you get direct placements/jobs right after completing a Bachelor's.
Other: I would wish to improve the facilities of the washrooms in the Science block. I haven't attended any events or fests yet, so I cannot say much about that. About campus surroundings, well, it is North Campus, so it is pretty lively.
