KMC is definitely worth taking admission in, as it has a wide range of courses.
Placements: Overall, KMC placements are over 50%, and companies like M&M, ITC, and others are the top recruiters from here. The highest package so far from the KMC campus has been 20 LPA. Our department placements are a little slim, but courses like Economics (Hons.) and B.Com (Hons.) have close to 80% placements.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is clean and nice, with seven buildings in total. The best part of our infrastructure is our Ashoka Lawn, where gatherings keep happening. It is also where top personalities, including our former Prime Minister Late Dr. Manmohan Singh, who was an alumnus of our college, have held sessions.
Faculty: All the teachers are either Doctors or Master’s degree holders, and as teaching in DU means you have to be among the absolute best, my college faculty members are definitely the best. The kind of knowledge and experience that KMC faculty members have is hard to find elsewhere. Exams are difficult, as it is DU after all.
Other: This is a course for which the CUET cut-off is 758, so only knowledgeable and highly intelligent students can get admission. Some students have come through the sports quota, but even for SC/ST categories, the cut-off for our course is 722.

Our college has very active societies. We have the best NCC and NSS on North campus.
Placements: 80% of students are placed in our course. Currently, I don't have any idea about placements but our course provides placement in GIS. Our course also provides a good percentage of internships to our students which is very helpful in today's industry or in the job market.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, classrooms, and lab are available. Sports are very active. Canteen provides good quality food at an affordable price. We do have medical facilities. We have boys hostel only but food quality and hostel infrastructure are good. Hostel is very pretty and peaceful environment to study. Our college has a reading hall where you can study peacefully.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and helpful. Teaching quality is very good. Semester exams are easy, you can easily manage to pass with good SGPA. Our teachers are knowledgeable and very interactive with students. They will definitely help with any doubts, even during your exams.
Other: I am pursuing B.A. hons geography, and I love this subject. Teachers are very good. Our department is like family. One thing which I want to improve about my course is to provide a proper GIS lab, although we do have a lab but it is small. Overall, our department is very good and beautiful. Our campus crowd, events, fests, and campus surroundings are very good. Scholarships are available. Extracurricular activities are available.

Tables for Kirori Mal lies.
Placements: I am in the second year, but I am not sure about whether the placement is done and what the package is. I have heard from seniors that if you develop the right skills that companies are looking for and also maintain a good CGPA, then you will definitely get placed.
Infrastructure: I am pursuing Geography Honours and have chosen my favourite subject. The college infrastructure is very nice. The labs, library, and canteen are very good. The instruments in the lab are in good working condition. Hostels are also available in the college, but there are limited seats.
Faculty: The overall faculty is very good, and the student-faculty ratio is also good. Teachers are very cooperative with students and clear all their doubts. The curriculum of the core subjects is up to the mark, and an average student can easily cope with the studies.
Other: A lot of internships are offered to students. I also applied for some of them. To get opportunities, you must have the right skills, like communication, computer skills, etc.

Good Infrastructure and Facilities .
Placements: 80% of my batch were given placements by the college. The highest average package offered in my course was 4,00,000 per annum, and the lowest average package offered in my course was 1,50,000 per annum. There were colleges, schools, and companies. The top roles were in a management level.
Infrastructure: The facilities in my course given by the college were up to date. Toposheets were taken to various places to have an idea about how to do a survey. The infrastructure of my college is very good. The quality of the food available in the mess and canteen is up to the money.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good; they teach us how to write perfect answers for the test. Who wants to give UPSC also helps you to gain experience or exposure. The course is curriculum-relevant. It makes the students industry-ready so they can contribute to the development of the country. The semester exams are not difficult for those who study on a regular basis, do revision of the syllabus, and know how to write perfect answers to the questions.
Other: I chose this course because I had a great interest in this course, and I really wanted to contribute to the development of the country because it teaches you the techniques on how to do remote sensing of a place.

It is a worthful experience and value for money.
Placements: For B.A. (Hons.) in Geography, there are no placements but for other courses such as B.Com our college provides placements. The placement cell is active in bringing placements to our college. In geography, students can excel in a particular field and find job opportunities such as oceanography, cartography, GIS, remote sensing, urban geography, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is pretty low in quality in our college but in our department specifically, air-conditioners are there. There is proper equipment. Stationary can be availed from depth itself or there is a stationary within the college. Classrooms are good, and the canteen is pretty average. The library is great. It has 3 floors with all the books as hardcopy and as soft copy as well on the online platform. The hostel facility is available for boys only, with mess and a separate canteen.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, well-educated, and qualified. They all are knowledgeable. Each has their own way of teaching but overall it is great. Faculty members are helpful. The course curriculum is relevant as per a new education policy. It has 3 core subjects and 4 other subjects as value addition courses, a skill enhancement course, a language course, EVS, and a general electives course for continuing minor degree. Semester exams are easy, and students can pass them easily if they have basic knowledge of the course. Students have to score 33% to pass both internals and semester-end exams.

College life after the covid.
Placements: Sadly, there are no direct placements for students pursuing geography until they have any specialized degree or skill in the fields of digital cartography, GIS and remote sensing. Our college provides placements to the students from economics, commerce and science backgrounds with a healthy package.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facilities are very limited on campus but there was individual WiFi for each department and lab. The college canteen was an 8 as the pricing and food were good but the crowd and hygiene were a big issue. Sports infrastructure was average; very few pieces of equipment were available and the ground was under maintenance throughout the course of 2.5 years.
Faculty: Many teachers were placed in foreign universities and Niti Ayog of India, like Prof. Seema Mehra, and the way of delivering knowledge is appreciated. The labs were provided for GIS work. Practical exams are high-scoring as they are conducted in the Geography lab with our classmates and our teaching faculty. Theory exams are hardworking, as we have to write 6-7 pages for each answer.
Other: I got my dream college in the 2nd cut off list. And there was no plan B for me though; the ambience of college is breathtaking, famous for shooting of movies like Kabir Singh, bellbottom and alumini like Big B , Divendu, KK , and Sargun Mehta. I was the sports captain of my department for 2years College festivals and farewells were also amazing

Nothing is perfect; everything has room for improvement, and so does our KIRORI MAL COLLEGE.
Placements: I don't know much about placement because I am in Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi, for UPSC preparation. But I have heard a lot about placements from my professors. They say almost 70 to 75% of interested students get placements from our college. The rest do not, due to their unwillingness to appear for placements or their focus on other priorities like UPSC, MBA, etc.
Infrastructure: We have access to Wi-Fi, and that's available across the college (in our own department, library, etc.). Our classrooms are equipped with modern-day boards, smart boards, ACs, etc. I find my college library one of the best, with several facilities where I invest my time and get very good returns. There is a hostel facility available in our college but only for a limited number of students; the rest have to reside in nearby areas. We have a large enough sports ground that can accommodate players of different games simultaneously. Besides, our sports group and management are highly active and take proactive measures whenever they receive any complaints.
Faculty: There is no doubt that our professors are highly qualified and knowledgeable, but disseminating knowledge is a totally different dimension. I think there is scope for improving their teaching style and approach. As I am pursuing my graduation in Geography Hons, I find its course and curriculum industry-relevant and friendly as well. We are taught different geographical skills like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). If a student attends even 2 or 3 classes weekly and does self-study rigorously, they would not face any difficulty in the semester exams.
Other: I had a special interest in geography, especially maps, from the very beginning. My subject teacher in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya always advised me to pursue graduation in this subject after evaluating my performance. Since geography is a conceptual subject, particularly the physical part, I think the college should design trips and ground-zero-based learning when teaching about mountains, hills, rivers, and other relief features. This would make the study more productive and easier to understand.

The overall infrastructure of the college is average.
Placements: We get placements in GIS, remote sensing and those pursuing higher education get fellowships. However, the percentage of students getting placed is relatively low and the average package goes around 6 Lacs. You can also get internships in GIS and other corporates.
Infrastructure: There are GIS labs provided and the classes are air conditioned along with Wi-Fi availability. There is presence of all equipments that you need for studying geography such as globe, topo sheets, etc. Hostels are quite good but there's only a boys hostel due to which the girls have to live in private PGs.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and most of them teach every topic thoroughly. The curriculum is average and has been diluted after NEP. Apart from your main course, there will be 5 other subjects too for skill development. Semester exams are easy to crack if you read PYQs thoroughly.
Other: Most of the people choosing this course are UPSC aspirants. You must take part in Societies for your personality development.

For Delhi University, you have to register first with the official website. Application process is online only. DU will open admissions in June, most probably in the last week. Then in second or third week of July, they will release merit list having percentage at which they are providing admission.
