Overall great experience, but the lab needs to be updated.

Placements: In our college, there are a few companies that offer placements. Basically, I know one company name Tata Motors, some of my seniors have joined the company. I have heard that probably Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000 is the salary offered. As I know, about 30 percent of students got internships.

Infrastructure: Ward facilities and first success are very good and the department is well-maintained. Wi-Fi is available in the classrooms. Kinnaur hostel and the quality of food are about 60 to 70 percent good. The canteen and medical facilities are well-maintained and clean.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching is also high-class, and we can understand all the teaching. They say our college semester is a little bit difficult compared to the 2024 syllabus. The pass percentage of our college is 80 percent.

Other: I chose this course because I have the most interest in it. Computers are not well maintained so we cannot learn coding on the computers. All the events and campus are good. Scholarships are offered.

The college is good, but placements for branches like mech and civil are not good.

Placements: 60-70 percent of students get placed every year. The highest package is 16 LPA. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Bosch, Dassault Systèmes, Tata, and Mercedes. Around 30-50 percent of students get placed for internship with Toyota and TCS. Roles offered are Design Engineer, Graduate Engineer, and R&D Engineer.

Infrastructure: Labs are good, but PC's are not perfect according to the software requirements. Wi-Fi is provided and there is a separate library for us and a central library for all. The mess food is around 5/10, and sports are given good preference.

Faculty: Most of the teachers as mentioned before, have PhDs, and some have graduated from IITs, so teaching is 8/10. As the college is autonomous, the syllabus is updated according to the current industry needs. The difficulty is 07/10. Pass percentage is 60-70 percent.

Other: I have completed a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering so I will continue the same course further. It involves/teaches you problem-solving, which is one of the top skills in today's life. Backlog fees should be reduced. Events are top-class every time famous internet sensations are called. 10/10.

Good academics and supportive faculty and a great overall campus life.

Placements: Placements in our course are quite good although they depend on students' skills and preparation. Many companies visit the campus for both core ECE and software-related jobs. The college also provides internship opportunities which help students gain practical experience and understand industry requirements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for ECE is good, and the department has proper classrooms and laboratories for practical learning. The labs have equipment required for doing experiments and projects. The campus has good hostel and canteen facilities and basic medical support. Overall, the college provides good campus life.

Faculty: The faculty members are helpful and approachable and most of them explain the concepts clearly. Semester exams are moderately difficult and regular preparation is enough to score well. The difficulty mainly depends upon the subject and type of questions asked.

Other: I chose ECE because it gives opportunities in both core electronics and software fields, so there are different career options after graduation. Campus life is also active with technical events, fests, clubs, etc.

Good infrastructure, but teachers who act with pride sometimes make the process less enjoyable.

Placements: In our senior batch, around 70% of students get placed through campus placements. The highest package is 5 LPA, the lowest package is 2.2 LPA, and the average package is 2.5 LPA. The companies that recruit students include Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Deloitte, and some startups. The top recruiting company is Infosys. The top roles offered are mostly in the analysis field.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for my course is good. The classrooms are clean and well-equipped. The computer labs have the necessary software for practical sessions. The library has a wide range of books. It provides a quiet place to study. Wi-Fi is available across the campus, although it can be slow at times. I am not a hostel student, so I cannot comment on the hostel facilities. The canteen provides decent food at reasonable prices. The college also provides facilities for sports and other extracurricular activities.

Faculty: Around 7 out of 10 teachers in my course are fresh postgraduates. So some of them have less experience and knowledge. Some teachers also struggle with time management. The course curriculum is almost similar to that of CSE. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate. The pass percentage is around 75%.

Other: There are many student clubs, but the best one is the "Make In BVB" Club. It hosts many events throughout the year, focusing on entrepreneurship and innovation. The college also has a large startup hub with good funding opportunities.

My experience at this institute is balanced with its own fair share of highs and lows.

Placements: The placement scenario at our college is strictly average and depends a lot on your individual skills. Around 60 to 70 percent of the students from our department manage to get placed every year, mostly in mass recruitment companies like TCS and Infosys.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with projector setups. Central library is well-stocked with academic books. It is a quiet place to study which is a big plus. Computer labs have outdated systems.

Faculty: Faculty members are generally good, responsive, genuinely helpful, and guide us through projects. Exams are moderately difficult, and you can pass them easily if you study from the standard notes. No handwritten notes are provided here. They provide digital notes for every subject.

Other: Campus life here is moderately good, though it has strict college timings. It is mandatory to have 85 percent attendance. The student crowd is mixed, with a good number of serious students and laid-back students.

Good infrastructure and curriculum but dissatisfied with placements.

Placements: We have 1 class in our department consisting of 60 to 70 students and hardly 10 students manage to get placed. I have no clear information about packages though but they're mostly average or below average. Some students manage to get an internship.

Infrastructure: There is one Star and the CARR lab. The hostel facilities are good. The library is also a go-to place. The quality of food in hostel is 9 /10. There are good opportunities for sports. Wi-Fi has some issues but it's manageable. The carry lab allows you to work on your side projects apart from course projects if your project pitch goes well.

Faculty: Teachers are approachable, very helpful, and well-qualified. This course is genuinely very relevant and makes students industry-ready. The semester exams' difficulty level stands at medium. They keep the curriculum updated. They usually try to include all the AI updates in the courses.

Other: I am looking forward to my Master's, the course has scope in Germany, which is also my main target. I wish the internships and placements were a little better. The events, fests, campus crowd and other activities are 10/10.
