Review of KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Overall, there are good placements here, and it depends on the department you choose. I am from the mechanical department, and it's quite rare to get some good companies. If you have a good score, you will surely get a chance to attend interviews in good MNCs like TVS, Siemens, etc.

Infrastructure: The hostel is quite good here, and I am feeling comfortable. There is value for money, and the food served is average. You will have gym facilities near the hostel, and you can play outdoor sports as well. There is a good time to spend with friends. Overall, I will rate the college as good, but I suggest you don't expect many facilities.

Faculty: Faculty members were average here. Some faculty members were comfortable in teaching, and this depends on the department. Some faculty members were the worst in teaching and behaviour. In civil and mechanical, some faculty members have the worst behaviour and in other departments also.

I am satisfied with this course.

Placements: Students were receiving pay between 2 LPA to 10 LPA and whereas I was receiving 2.5 LPA packages that were up to my skillsets. Accenture, Wipro, HCL, and many more prominent recruiters were on our line. When students come to the department of mechanical engineering and automobile, students had siemens and fancuc automation for students. They had opportunities to get internships from Titan, HMT, ICF, and some more foreign educational institutions also, so I would recommend this to be one of the best choices for consideration, whereas students have been offered multiple roles as analysts, supervisor, designers, and GET.

Infrastructure: I consider this to be the best in infrastructure and when someone looks out or walks into the campus. Students would love this college. It was designed in such a way, whereas many renovations take place frequently. It had good library and Wi-Fi enabled campus. But students need to get approval by sharing IP and IMEI for the device they were trying to connect to it, rest things like laboratories, classrooms were impressive. For food, I would rate it a normal rating as it was good.

Faculty: Teachers were well trained with more than 50% of doctoral professors and even most of them were kind enough to reach them and they do had industrial support to reach and visit directly on need. Students were expected to score a minimum of 65% of marks to get passed.

Other: Events and fests were good in this college. This college was affiliated with Anna University and I had two placement offers at end of our course. But I didn't choose either as the offers weren't up to my expectations.
