My Honest Review of My College KJC

Placements: Don't know much about placements because I'm just a fresher, but I know a guy who is doing an internship at Reliance, and he might get a good placement. KJC has tied up with many companies worldwide, so there shouldn't be any difficulty in getting placements.

Infrastructure: WiFi is only used by teachers, and students don't get the password. Classrooms are pretty decent, with projectors and good lighting. A lot of sports are available in our college, like basketball, football, cricket, weightlifting, karate, etc.

Faculty: Teachers are very good and seem approachable when needed. Our Business Analytics course is directly tied with IOA, which helps us get good placements easily, and they train us with the basics to become professionals in our field. I don't know about semesters yet since I haven't reached there.

Other: My course is pretty unique because it combines commerce with a bit of computer science, like learning programming.

Placements: For B.Com Business Analytics, top recruiting companies span various industries such as IT, consultancy, finance, and retail. Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, and Accenture are among the top companies. Our placement interviews are scheduled to start in the third week of August. Placements are good at LJC. To attend campus placements, you should not have any backlogs in any of the semesters.

Infrastructure: The college provides free Wi-Fi facilities. For B.Com in Business Analytics at Kristu Jayanti College, the facilities and infrastructure support both academic and professional learning. Classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated, equipped with projectors and smartboards for interactive teaching, and have comfortable seating arrangements for students.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are kind and friendly. The college follows a CIE system that includes assignments, presentations, quizzes, and mid-term tests. The end-semester exams test both theoretical understanding and practical application. I appreciate the balance between academic rigor and practical exposure.

It is a good college but sometimes it is strict.

Placements: Around 80 students get placed in our college. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiters are big four companies like PWC, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, and many other companies like ICICI bank and many more. Our college does not provide internships but helps students to get them off-campus. Top roles offered are data analyst and business analyst.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in our college are very good. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. There are 3 types of Wi-Fi connections for teachers, students, and guests. Our college lacks in sports only selected members are allowed to use the ground and other sports materials.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and knowledgeable. Every teacher has their own teaching method. The course curriculum provides good knowledge about the industry and makes students ready to face challenges in the corporate world.

Other: I chose this course because in the coming years, this course will be in high demand. Few colleges offer this course.

The college has really good infrastructure, and the campus is clean and tidy.

Placements: There are a lot of opportunities, but only a few are lucky enough to get placed. There are still people who manage to get better placements with good packages. Companies like South Indian Bank, Walmart, JP Morgan, etc., recruit students from here. I even heard that the package of 43 LPA was offered by South Indian Bank.

Infrastructure: The campus itself is very beautiful. The first time I got into the campus, I was awestruck. The campus is always clean. The college has provided Wi-Fi facility for college purposes. The infrastructure of the college is extraordinary. There are different food courts in every building.

Faculty: The faculty members are well educated and very helpful as well. The college is strict on certain rules and regulations. The college helps any student in their holistic development. The faculty members help you during exams, and exams are quite easy.

Other: The only negative point I find in this college is there are no events. The college gives more importance to studies than any other extracurricular activities.

It provides good supporting faculty members.

Placements: Around 35% of students will get placement in the B.Com business analytics course. The lowest salary offered is Rs 15,000 by the companies which come for giving placements. The highest salary offered is Rs 20,000 - Rs 30,000. Aryaka Infotech, 24 Digital frames, 99 acres, are the top companies for our course. Around 40% of students get internships in B.Com courses. Tax advisory services are top roles offered in B.Com.

Infrastructure: In this college, the hostel facility is not good, and I heard many students complaining about the stay. But students can find many reasonable PG and hostel rooms around the college which will be affordable and reasonable. I stayed in a PG which is 3 minds walk away distance from this college.

Faculty: This college has a very good progressive systematic approach for academics, students who are dedicated, participative, have good scope to score marks and develop professionally. The CIE component may vary and also it depends on the credit of the courses, and for every subject course a student has to submit a written assignment, which is out of 10 marks, a good student ideally should score easily. The next component is marked from attendance, if attendance is in the range of 95% - 100% a student gets 5 marks for each subject. The third component is mid term exam, which ideally happens in between the semester, for a 4 credit subject a student can score up to 15 marks, i.e 10 marks for assignment and 5 marks for attendance and 15 marks for term exam i.e total of 30 marks total for 4 credit subject, which one can score for each subject, then finally there will be end term semester exam which is out of 70 marks, 30 marks CIE and 70 marks end term exam, a bright student ideally should score good CIE, if they score another 60 marks out of 70, so total 25+60=85 marks a very bright student can score.
